Oh god, the Pope is a Sith Lord?

Breail, palatine-captain Fillipo can't teleport. It's guardsman Carlos you're talking about, you silly goose.

I know, he told the captain to teleport him. Basically, fillipo needs to tell Carlos, as the guard takes orders from the captain not Breail

Just read the IC posts of you guys. No offense, but it's impossible for Dugal to attack the Pope because if Dugal was still able to attack Fillipo wouldn't have had all of them return to the physical world.

Not sure. It seems like they both disappeared. Oh well. If they don't come back, we shall assume they disappeared into the void, like Jean.

Wasn't Jean killed by Beta Nasagori?

Nope. AU just stopped posting and we never declared what happened to Jean. Who knows

It's all for the story. I shold think it wouldn't have any real effect IC wise, as they can heal the Pope rather easy. It was just Dugal basically making huge enemies out of the Vatican.

Besides didn't you yourself say that Fillipo was arrogant. He might have overestimated the effect of Dugal's weakness. Dugal is going to have to fight Breail soon anyway. He can't be in non-fighting condition.

HES MISSING AN ARM!! That actually pissed me off as I'll feel bad fighting him in such a state.

Also, Adagar, kill off the Pope. Let Fillipo ascend to that position, it'd make great character development.

And Fillipo is the world's top bodyguard, the second most powerful Roman, and arguably the number one warrior when it comes to visual perception. In other words, Fillipo would easily have been able to grab hold of the thrown blade in mid-air.

Besides it being absurd considering the character present in that room, I have also not given permission to Jedi to roleplay my characters. It's as simple as that :ugeek:

@ Jedi, Fillipo may be arrogant but he would in no way underestimate anything or anyone when it comes to the Pope's safety. This is a man who would sacrifice everything and everyone including his own life, honor, family and country to protect the Pope.

Well considering you role-played cutting off Dugal's hand, I don't think the Pope getting a small cut is that much of a problem.

It frankly doesn't matter how it ends. He could easily lose his sword and be forced to surrender.
The point is that Dugal leaves his mark upon the Vatican, and makes them permanently pissed off at Dugal forevermore. Cutting the Pope would do so. It's good story frankly. Leaving a lasting grudge, that could extend past the end of the Omega storyline. And Fillipo can't see Dugal unless they are in his universe, which they were no longer. Meaning his skills wouldn't apply. Just roll with it as good story and move on.

Dugal already has the fury of the entire Palatine Guard except for Fillipo on him because they got humiliated by him and his Phantoms.

Fillipo's physical eyes are the same as the eyes in the dimension he controls. Sure, he only has two and not an entire sky full of them, but that still gives him a major edge.

I'm not going to continue arguing. If you wish me to edit my post so that Dugal doesn't lose a hand, tell me and I will do so. I am ignoring the thrown blade hitting the Pope and the grenade exploding in the room, and that's final. They are, after all, my characters.

Really? How mature. You'd rather have your secondary non played character not take any damage, instead of creating good story. You are destroying the entire point of RP.

Besides, we already have a character with perfect sight. Dugal's father. Who was created before Fillipo. I can understand him seeing Dugal in his dimension, but outside of it, I see no precedent. You yourself said it was the eyes of the dimension that allowed Fillipo to be able to react so fast, as they worked as somewhat ESP.

I understand they are "your" characters, but this has been about creating a good story. There are several good reasons for Dugal getting a mark upon the Pope.

-Fillipo was distracted by Breail's entrance
-Allowing a mark to be made upon his precious Pope would haunt Fillipo, furthering his need to seek vengeance against Dugal and HUNT

Breail has already responded to what has happened. You also don't get to decide what Dugal can and can't do. If I decide Dugal flip a knife, which is rather easy considering he is the WORLD's BEST ASSASSIN , then he can bloody well do it.Fillipo can be a good as bodyguard that you want, but that doesn't mean he can block every attack ever. Fillipo wouldn't have seen the knife anyway, as he was looking at Breail, ie. he can't see through the back of his head.

And the only thing you have real precedent to ignore is the knife. You can't choose to ignore the grenade. I never declared an effect of it. Karaig had it explode tearing apart the room. That was his inference, not mine.

My suggestion is that you man up, and allow a good story to develop, instead of being so focused on what happens to "your characters". I could understand had I killed or maimed the Pope significantly, but it wasn't significant, it was A SMALL CUT!!! The Pope is damaged very little. I will not be changing my post over something so silly and insignificant, and that's final.

Karaig and I would like to get on with our chase now.

It kinda defeats the entire purpose of him throwing the knife. Though at least your option can still provide good story.

And Breail is weakened along with Dugal. Agadar doesn't seem to be on, so if you want to assume teleportation....
