Let Ansed become powerful enough to take on Mentar. After all, he is the one Snowflake will save.

I'm sorry, I phrased the former statement wrong. If Ansed was still a wimp, then Mentar could just take him out and move on. He needs to be strong enough to pose a threat that Mentar cannot handle easily. Because Ansed will effectively divide HUNT so they will become weak enough for the rogues(who the story mostly revolves around), Max and the Romans, and the French to take not only HUNT down but Londim. And if Snowflake wants to be able to have a good plot conflict, a stronger, deadly Ansed that can cause ruin will make it much better then the normal Ansed, which will be what Ansed is again after his defeat, unless you want him to keep his powers Agadar if you heal him to fight Omega. Do you understand, Agadar?

Pip, I am not aware of the reasoning behind Ansed's madness and increasing power since you don't want to tell us just yet, but if it is some sort of higher (ultimate?) stage Ansed can reach which unfortunately goes paired with insanity, then it is possible for cardinal Bardarus to cleanse Ansed's mind, thus getting rid of the insanity but not of Ansed's powers. The cardinal would do this because he knows the kind of mutant Ansed is and knows how he will need every super he can get to defeat Nasagori & co.
