I just don't know if it would work in a game that shifts back and forth like it would. I might contrast poorly.

No it wouldn't. Point-and-click Adventure is pretty much the epitome of monotony. It's the exact opposite of combat-heavy action.

Maybe contrast is the wrong word. I just don't see point-and-click as working for this sort of game.

So, I just took this nap, and, when I woke up, I had an awesome idea for a video game. Alright, so you play as this dog, but you're a smart dog. You even attend the local high school. Of course, you're still a dog and can't talk or write or really do any of the school work, but you're still somehow there. Then, you have to go through the day as this first-person point-and-click adventure game, doing various things at the school. However, once night falls, the town becomes this weird nightmare city that's almost entirely abandoned except for a few key characters. Then, the gameplay radically changes and becomes a third-person beat-em-up where you have to explore the monster-filled streets to find these characters and do various quests for then. I don't entirely have a plot, but I'm thinking it'd probably be something about lifting the curse and turning the town back to normal.

I had a great idea for a game but it involved michael jakson raping children so i think no one would buy it.
