And Psy- yeah, I'm a fan of the Megaman games. Particularly the SNES portion of the Megaman X series (which I borrowed some ideas from for my NS nation.), though I've played a bunch of the original series, some of the Zero series, Legends, ZX, and all of the Battle Network and Star Force series. I've got version of my namesake original character Firefury in the old MMX style, the slimmer Battle Network style, and a version set in the Star Force end of the timeline.

I was a bit of a BN fan myself. If you're a fan of Megaman, there's Bob And George, a finished webcomic set in the Megaman universe which parodies everything, from turning Megaman into an idiot-still a hero, yet an idiot-and making Dr. Light a drunkard. I laughed a lot, and there's a lot of running gags and weird characters.

Oh, I hope you're smart, because there's lots of time travel and temporal madness too.

It went on for seven years not counting the guestcomics already on there that are winding down since the comic finished two years ago.

George (one of the custom characters): No! You can't... just continue the conversation like nothing's happened!

George: You just killed everyone! You destroyed their core personalities!
X: Oh, that. Please be sensible George. Do you really think I would kill their core personalities, destroying them permanently?
George: You started this whole thing by assimilating everyone against their will!
X: That's beside the point.

(Part Two)

X: George, let me explain. No one has been harmed in here. The core personalities are completely safe. You were interacting with copies led to believe they were the original personalities in order to heighten the game's dramatic tension.
George: Game? You mean this was all just some elaborate game?
X: Yes, kind of like Enter the Matrix, except fun and not quite so buggy.

I like the second pic best, swords are always the best in MM games. My favorite games are X5 for the PS1 and X7 for the PS2. Yours?

I think X1 will forever be my favorite; good solid gameplay that isn't overcomplicated, and Zero dying wasn't cliche yet! :lol2: X2 and X3 were also fun, but once it transitioned to the Playstation, the change in the graphics and the tendency toward complicating things with multiple armors and stuff was something of a turnoff. I did enjoy Command Mission though, even if X's ultimate armor in it was the single most overkill thing I think I've ever seen! :rofl:

I never got through command mission, and i havn't played the older ones, but multiple armors? you mean the flying one and the Gaia armor?

REPPY SEZ: Yeah, in the first... four games? X had one set of armor upgrades, end of discussion. Some of the later ones like to have 2 or 3 different sets and various other upgrades.... bleh. Not as much my thing. :p

I've been playing a game called Super Ultra Mega Evil Genius, which involves you (the titular evil genius) attempting to destroy the world while making troops to kill enemies from tourists to UN peacekeepers while all the while building a doomsday device to destroy the world with. It's a long game and wave-based, but fun fun fun!

In X5 there were other armors, but i don't think they were very important. I agree though, 1 armor is better.
