And just a heads up in case it's making national or international news: the current crop of brushfires in Southern California aren't anywhere near me. At best we've had smoke blowing in from the Azusa/La Canada Flintridge fire which is something like over an hour's drive from here.

And even if the area around me ignited, there's not much to burn around here because I just went through the whole "OMG BRUSHFIRE GOTTA EVACUATE" thing last November.

If anything does decide to ignite around here that provides badass picture opportunities though, I'll keep folks posted. I've got a telephoto lens for my camera this time!
