ok thanx for the feedback and restraint and patience. i lost mine for a bit.

its just so demoralising when a weeks work went down the drain because of one error.

i admit my bad i never read up on every rule. because i simply dont have the time to read every rule.

im disapointed because i realy want to learn and contribute positively to the wa twp and ns.

ive always searched for a political sim and this is one im intrigued by.

and i apolagise for using the a word.

however i do not respond to well to veil threats.

and if this is how ns administrators operate into bullying or cajoeling people into doing what they want then i will up and leave to another rpg.

peace.

Dolphins, you can ALWAYS make another nation and have THAT one join the WA. And the Mods are there to make people FOLLOW the rules.

Your delegate had come to the GA forums earlier to ask for a solution to your conundrum.

The answer you need can be found here.

*nods*

Bud, yours truly here has been banned from the WA too at one point in time. The best thing I found to do was visit the General Assembly subforum, participate in their debates, read the stickies, and eventually draft my own proposal with the guidence of the veterens there. My first proposal turned out a thousand-kajillion times better thanks to some of my mentors' advice.

there should be a way of searching nations (just like searching posts!)

On NationStates (the game) or on the forums?

If in-game, there's a search box on the bottom of The World page.
If on the forums, go to the member list (just below the header and on the right side of the page, there will be a Members link) and above the list of members, you will see a "Find a member" link.

Adding the number of posts you make on your regions regional message board into the equasion of regional infuluence.

Also non-WA nations should be able to "Opt. in" to WA resolutions if they want meaning they like that resolution and would like it to apply to them, but they could still "opt. out" at any time.

It's called joining and resigning from the WA.

Of course, if a nation only likes one or two resolutions, it can adopt its own legislative variation and no "opt in"/"opt out" is required.

That would make people spam so they could get huge influence levels!

Unless we did it so that posting decreased influence, but I don't even want to think about the outcry that that would cause.

Or the incredible silence.

Or the incredible flood of puppets.

In my defence...

Yes that non-WA nations could just join the WA or pass legislation. I was ejected from the WA so I can't come back and I don't want to sit around waiting for issues. Plus some don't even have issues.

Second, maybe it would only count if you did more that 4 lines or something. I think it would be good because I am one of the most influencial in my region and my regional influence is minow.

What is it with me posting right below pythag?

Anyway, what is defineable as four lines, on my DSi they would be short!

On max barrys screen they would be long!

The line length thing is a moot point anyway; we will not add anything to the influence calculation based on RMB posting. All it would do is encourage spam.

Maybe people (in WA) could change there votes on passed WA resolutions so that they could be repealed without needing a resolution

No. You have plenty of time while the resolution is at vote to change your mind; the idea is that once it is passed, it is set in stone UNLESS a repeal resolution goes through.

Heck, be glad we even have repeals, back when I first started playing we didn't even have that. Back then if a bad resolution passed we were stuck with it.
