It wasn't from the same timeline as any of the characters present. And yet it had clearly been here, once, a long time ago.

The force was mischievous, and decided to take one of these 'things' that were otherwise going to be destroyed.

The thing would be a leg of a robot and a few recipes for a mean sushi, the robot leg being about a few tons and larger than a full grown adult human or over seven feet tall.

The robot leg proved too heavy and was dropped, but the force held onto the sushi recipes. Surprisingly, it had never tried sushi in its many years of semi-existence.

The force moved itself behind the bar and started to heat up the oven or microwave or particle accelerator or whatever it is you use to make sushi.

It seemed that this mystery would not be resolved unless someone had the magic to make the force visible.

It would require any of the above but sushi was mostly raw and the force will remain invisible but could possibly still make the sushi. Meanwhile the leg would be destroyed completely.

Perhaps unfortunately, the force chose the third option. Because of course this place has a miniature particle accelerator.

Mister Mouffan, cleaning a glass, did not speak, turn around, or otherwise react. He had seen too much at this job to care about what would probably happen next, much less be surprised by it. Wherever this led, he had no regrets.

The force's inexperienced attempts at manipulating the particle accelerator lead to ever increasing energy levels within the machine, eventually culminating in a blinding flash of blue light.

When the glare cleared, a plate of reasonably well-prepared sushi sat on the counter. Next to it sat a dazed, very-much-visible kitsune spirit, covered in ash. After a few seconds, the ash seemed to realize that ghosts are intangible and fell to the counter, leaving a somewhat familiar poltergeist named Marty visible for all the world to see. One could only wonder how long he'd been haunting the place, undetected.

Mister Mouffan continued to clean his glass.

Upon realizing that he was visible, Marty's eyes went wide.

"Rats! We've been spotted! Dive, dive!"

With that, he disappeared beneath the floorboards.

...

Well, that was certainly interesting. Perhaps he'll be back tomorrow.

And a very loud what the fuck just happened and what was that, could be heard and then everything returned to normal or normal as possible. The sushi would be eaten quickly if it was not eaten already and complemented for being perfectly made.

”Shark-run? Isn’t that like the opposite of a bank run? Where instead of a draining the money from the bank via masses. The bankers will try to give loans to as many people as possible to send false money and having them chained to payoff the debt. It’s illegal in my country, however banks can still financially prosecute surface dwellers.” Said VictorNet, sitting at a nearby table with some orange juice and Bacon and eggs, which would be his breakfast, he was eating with a fork an knife. Rapture City

  • In the underwater city, two roles have emerged from the City's ongoing civil war: the City Monitors who defend the peace and the Red Caps who fight against unjust systems. The city's infrastructure is crumbling under its own weight and kinship is snuffed by the paranoia of totalitarianism. Yet the people would be in for a surprise as their virtual overlord have died many years ago as the oppression continues under his name...
  • Not an 1-1 exact replica of Bioshock lore and Rapture City. Only the city's atmosphere and setting is maintained.

"Well, no... shark-run is a sport here in Piscany, where we get a frightened baby shark and release 20 players into the arena, 10 for each team. Each of the players have to either chase the shark up and attempt to catch it, or stop the other team by doing so, by any means necessary. Then whoever catches the shark has to put it into a cage whilst the enemy team tries to tackle him and snatch the shark away from it, or free it so they can chase it again. It's pretty fun, and also nice to watch the struggles between the sportsmen." Diann said, giggling.

Metallic stomping could be heard as someone in a suit of armor entered the saloon and made their way to the bar. They sat down at the counter, looking left and right without moving their head.

They did not seem to be here for a drink.

Soon after, a pair of FFT folk entered. One was the Fleet Captain of the Stellar Expedition, a pretty-boy sort of lad in an extravagant, jet black sort of naval uniform, and the other was Eva, the SE's Police Commander and personal guardswoman of the Captain, a beautiful and curvy but harsh and stern looking girl in a white cat-suit that looked like something out of Tron.

"Here is the anomaly I was talking about, Eva." began the Captain, who checked out the bar. "It's rustic. I like it."

"...Okay, Your Excellency. Be careful." Eva advised, poorly feigning her lack of interest in anything other than guarding her comrade.

The man in the iron suit merely nodded in greeting; it seemed that he was not the sort to initiate a conversation.

Meanwhile, an improbable-looking craft best described as a flying steam locomotive landed next to whatever landing craft the Expedition folk had arrived in. Shortly after, a well-dressed young man cheerfully entered.

"Ah, fellow space travelers."

He didn't look like a space traveler, but it seemed he was one all the same.

The Expedition'ers had actually no ship in sight, strangely enough. Even stranger, they didn't seem to doubt that the fellow was a space traveler.

The Captain perked up when hearing the fellow. "Oh, greetings, traveler." He smiled. "How are you?"

At that instant, Eva felt like a child waiting for her parents to stop being busy with a conversation. The beautiful woman, keeping herself out of the way, sighed and eyed the bar with visible sadness. She quickly concealed the emotion and looked away.
