We have no idea what any of that is. Are they related to that new wonderful invention, the telegraph?

Ever since the Fall the Traitor Empress has gone quite mad, banning the use of her real name and locking herself away in her shuttered palace. The title Traitor Empress has become quite common among the common people, though not to her face. No one wants to draw her ire, though she has little actual power left.

She sounds like a cranky lass.
Hopefully she gets better and starts doing what a ruler should do: leading with a gentle fist and a sharpened sword.

Interesting indeed.
Despite being a 1936 design originally, the Panzer IV remained in service even into the Korean War until it was finally replaced by the Kampfpanzer Panther. In Korea they had the nickname of "Opas Traktor" (Grandpa's Tractor) due to it's aged design.

Incredible! The SR shares some of those views!

The SR served with the Central Powers during WWI, which it gained land in the War, and the Allies during WWII, which it lost land in the War.

Sounds like trouble.

The swastika was never outlawed, consequently some units still used it as an emblem post-war despite use being frowned upon officially.

Nice, just like in Finland. I personally, don't see anything wrong with it.

Just repeating a fact:
When the Pope visited Persagonia in December 2017 for a Christmas celebration and was nearly killed by a sniper during a motorcade, our President smoked a cigar and calmly said to the Pope "I'm sorry, that bullet was intended for me, not you." and acted if it didn't happen whilst everybody, especially his wife, was in disarray and panic. Apparently, political assassination attempts are quite common in Persagonia and our leaders were quite used to it.

You should really bolster law enforcement.

The Crown that our Emperor wears in all his important speeches is none other than the German State Crown, conceptualized back in 1871 but not made until 1927. It is very massive and supposed to resemble the old Holy Roman crown. In 1966, it was damaged during an attempt at Emperor Ludwig Ferdinand I, when the assassin's bullet pierced the Crown's cross at the front and briefly entered the Emperor's head, damaging his brain and forcing him to abdicate almost immediately after regaining consciousness. It has since been repaired and is now actually bulletproof.

Dang! That's gotta stink for poor Ludwig. At least a repeat of that couldn't happen now.

Toraian churches have a practice of using the communio layout (it’s called “kliinhikapa” in Toraian, which means “established in familial love”) for their sanctuaries, which basically means that the benches or chairs are arranged in a circle rather than rows, with the pulpit and lectern in the middle. This layout represents unity and love as a spiritual family.

Seems a noble idea, but questionable

British New England was formed in 1783 by the states of New York, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut who during the Revolutionary War had a majority Loyalist population.
The Houses of the Parliament of New England resolved on Sep 15, 1783 to exercise its right to opt out of the United States by making an address to King George III of the United Kingdom. In 2017 personal popularity for Queen Elizabeth II remains high while popularity for the United States President remains low.

Interesting. I wonder why.

In Atlantean English, "Merry Christmas" is used only less than 10% of the time, and its use does not seem to grow. This is probably because "Merry Christmas" is inconsistent with other greetings, such as "Happy Birthday," "Happy New Year's," etc.
Uses certain NS stats.

Atlantis is an MT nation that is the third richest country in the world, behind only China and the United States. It is closer to the USA, UK, Italy and Spain (in that order, though Italy and Spain is probably tied) culturally than it is Greece. It is also a naval power.

And no, Atlantis is not underwater: It has a land area around the size of France.

Pros: Classical liberalism, democracy, the West, Brexit, Viktor Orban, free education, strong military
Cons: Authoritarianism, fascism, communism, multiculturalism, Islamism

Odd choice but has some reasoning.

Because East Germany never stayed for long under Soviet occupation, it still retains a sizable Protestant population.
