Repeating this fact. Our first and current Chairman Miroslavsky is somewhat photo-shy and has aversion to looking straight at the camera and taking photographs (but has no problem being recorded live or addressing a large crowd from a reasonable distance). As a result, he usually turns away or sideways when facing the camera. Ministry of Media and Communication had hard times trying to make a propaganda poster with him facing the camera directly and just went on with a picture of him turning sideways.

The LDF are an unofficial fourth branch of government. They are the enforcement branch of the government and act as the police and army. If it were to be that they don’t do their job or something as unlikely as that is, they would have to face peoples militias (imagine the American National guard but ran by the territories and private citizens). In times of Peace the Chief Frontline Commander (or as of current commandress) and the Chief Secret Operations Commander. Otherwise the previous mentioned militias take over.

theoretically speaking we do have militias, and literally every person is armed in Pilarcraft, but still. when the CAAF has OP orbital platforms and extremely powerful laser cannons that can level entire countries with one shot, armed populous can become slightly irrelevant. as far as I'm concerned, the CAAF would never coup unless the govt was oppressive or went against the Common Code, but I haven't thought what would actually happen if they did.

So essentially Monarcho-Syndicalism? Neat.

However, Viksberg tries to stay out of the fighting as much as possible, and instead has sent food, supplies and military advisors to Syria. The Middleman Entente (Currently formally known as The Alliance to Stabilize Middle Earth) is an alliance of nations that have sworn to stand as a challenge against the NATO/CSTO socio-military and political duopoly on the world. Of course, since most of its members were victims of regime changes by it's founders (Asmundia and Pilarcraft), a lot of people suspect and accuse of the Entente of being Pilarcraft's puppets.

Albeit the Rhenish Republic may appear to be Rhineland-centered, the cultures of Westphalia, Hesse and Palatinate don't just enjoy equal status to the Rhinelander culture, but in fact, these four cultures have a joint national identity based off all four cultures which was created after the horrors of WWII.
This means that each cultural area can freely practise their cultural traditions. (Like the Rhineland's famous carnival)
