That’s rare.

The title “Empire” in “United Dawetidish Empire” does not refer to an imperial regime, as it is a fascist republican dictatorship. It is said to refer to the unity of all races within Dawetid, as an emperor does with his tributaries (hence also the flag, with each color representing a race)

Imagine an uprising took over and completely destroyed our nation's culture, and brainwashed the people into puppets of a dictator.
This nation might be edge, but at least more realistic than a certain other edge nation.
Some news will be adapted from events from CCTV.
Bridge collapse in Pokboh province, video spread online rapidly. While the people have expressed through social media their sympathy with the casualties, authorities have quickly dismissed the collapse as a "planned event", and the sympathy messages as "fake compassion", "attention-seeking", etc.

I honestly find the use of the LGBT flag as the fascist flag as flat out retarded and possibly a way to mask or legitimise your main nation’s homophobia.

In Fāskeland, prudish clothing is the most common form of clothing. High heels, short skirts and all that are generally frowned upon, especially high heels.

Men are encouraged to wear overcoats or long-sleeved shirts and trousers. Shorts are frowned upon, unless it’s really hot.

Swimwear wise, women are socially pressured to wear one-pieces, not bikinis.

Always thought it stood for LGBT supremacy or something along those lines. Huh. At least it’s not racist, but the rainbow flag still annoys me...

AN: It’s their choice, but I like some more flair or style in clothing choices, for both genders.

Nations such as Versilia or Faskeland have a North Korea-like reputation to us- We acknowledge they exist, but how powerful they‘re regarded as is entirely up to the joke they’re the butt of. A popular meme is a Kekistani wearing a Nazi SS uniform infiltrating Faskelandic ranks, while a reference to Star Wars’ Order 66 is a common joke regarding Versilia’s use of clones in their military. Even their leaders have become memes in their own right, and frequently the subject of Stalin or Hitler-like mockery.

AN: Strange, normally tech levels explodes in wartime.

Contrary to the snark I often receive, no one really wants the Katsur government let alone the royal family to collapse. There are several reasons.

Anna Sabilline is the most likely to take over in Lucy's place, she herself loves using Lucy as a lightning rod for bad publicity and having someone to complain about to make her ideology appealing for the masses.

Most nobles would rather have what they perceive as a spineless chocolate obsessed puppet than Anna Sabilline.

The royal guard is extremely competent and has wast invasive authority, rebellion is unlikely to end well.

The market loves Lucy as a cash cow franchise and the media for having someone to write about. It doesn't matter if she's competent or not, you can still profit on her publicly.

Lastly people like stability. They fear what happened to France and Russia could happen in Katsur that Anna Sabilline would be the next Napoleon.

So, the people actually want to be ruled by a child? Are they all brainwashed or are they really that apathetic?

Empress Vallisara's mother, Empress Lililia, constantly warned her eldest child, Emperor Aldaril, that his sister had eyes on the throne. Empress Lililia knew of her daughter's ruthless, merciless and downright sadistic tendencies, and her seemingly unstoppable ambitious drive, and she feared that upon her eventual passing that Vallisara would attempt to plunge the Empire into chaos in a bid to usurp the Ruby Throne from her brother. She only shared these fears with Aldaril, lest word spread and damage the image of the Imperial Family. When Lililia passed away and Aldaril became Emperor of Tamriel, he concluded that his mother's fears were unfounded, and he instead decided to trust his sister, whom he loved dearly. However, this would prove to be his undoing, just as his mother would be proved correct. Vallisara murdered Aldaril in cold blood, along with his wife and his only child, all whilst blaming the murder on assassins from a 'terrorist' group that was prejudiced against Altmer, which in turn allowed her to rid herself of political rivals and enemies once she was crowned Empress.

That's humble for an opponent of the "sand cultists"

I'll just repeat a fact:
Our President, Amir Khatami, would send letters to the parents of the Iraqi pilots that he scored a kill against during the Gulf War. In each letter, he would express his admiration for their bravery and would also state that they are brainwashed by Ba'athist propaganda and he would also ask for forgiveness from them. Nonetheless, 27 years later, he and his wife would throw a dinner party in the Presidential palace with the Iraqi pilots' families to make amends with them.

Such kindness is rare in a soldier, but still admirable as long as it didn't compromise his ability to fight. I see that it didn't in this case.

The average German is much less cosmopolitan in our universe: The influence of military success, social and ethnic homogeneity (which is not perceived as such: while in reality Germans are all very similar from the global point of view, Austrians and Rhinelanders think that they are very different), the unbendingly tradition-encouraging and patriotic monarchy, lack of foreign consumer imports, and the tranquil, content and work-loving nature of most Germans all contributed to today's reality: nobody in Germany really cares if there's a Day of the Dead in Mexico, Emu Wars in Australia or myths of dragons in China. Some outward-looking attitude does deep through via cosmopolitan France and the not-at-all-Germanized Mittelafrika, but for the most part? The German would much rather spend their holidays relaxing in the Istrian March (German territory) or at the very furthest Greek Cyprus than trying weird curry halfway round the world in India. And if you insist to the German that he should resign his tax money to someone far away, or feel guilty that they don't have it as good as he does in Germany, he will eventually get bored of you and show you the door.

We have similar attitude here, but less cheerful. To each his own and good luck with that!

Hunting as a pastime is still somewhat common in Zitravgrad, because people sometimes had to hunt for meat and fur during the post-war difficulty. That said, it is seen as highly insulting not to use the spoil of your hunt or hunt more than you can utilize. The state also puts strict regulations on where and when you can hunt.

One of the hunting 'styles' is called 'Wasteland hunting', in which two person ride on a snowmobile into the yellow zone (in radiation suit obviously). As one of them is riding, another person will use a sniper rifle to shoot anything that follows or flees the sound of the snowmobile. It was widely done during harder times but now seen as unnecessary, given the danger of going into yellow zones and the chance of being eaten by radioactive bears.

So, how's the obesity your country with all that doughnuts eh?

In 1999, Persagonian scientists managed to create a milk-bountiful cow that is able to withstand the harsh climates of Persagonia. This cow is a result of a breeding between Holsteins and Criollo cattle, inheriting their bountiful supplies of milk and ability to withstand arid climates respectively. These type of cows were called "Dartush Cattle". Ever since then, farmers are breeding them in the masses which only tripled milk production in Persagonia. The cows' milk is also regarded as high-quality and their milk is very expensive outside of Persagonia.

Eh, 60% of us can't drink milk...

The first Palmeran novel to be internationally recognized, Lola the Cat/ Lola la gata(1912), had a rough start. It's name is punny in Spanish and refers to the main character being a maid, though she's also a catgirl. The story focused on a very deranged tale vaguely similar to Cinderella -if Cinderella was a recovering junkie and partially unreliable narrator. Despite nothing graphic explicitly occurring in text, the implicit undertones of sadomasochism and an interracial marriage in the finale made it object of censorship abroad, reason why it was only published by a small Parisian erotic editorial at first and never made into a movie during the Golden Age of Cinema. AND then when it was finally recognized as Palmeran in 1960, the government back then thought it was "colonialist" and didn't recognize it until 1968.

I must read that novel.

Atlantis' embassy in London resembles a mediæval keep, complete with crenellations and machicolations. It even looks mediæval in the interior, if one does not mind the lighting, furnitures and lifts.

Due to this, the embassy is nicknamed "Camelot". And fittingly, its mascot is a knight.

Atlantis is an MT nation that is the third richest country in the world, behind only China and the United States. It is closer to the USA, UK, Italy and Spain (in that order, though Italy and Spain is probably tied) culturally than it is Greece. It is also a naval power.

And no, Atlantis is not underwater: It has a land area around the size of France.

Pros: Classical liberalism, democracy, the West, Brexit, Viktor Orban, free education, strong military
Cons: Authoritarianism, fascism, communism, multiculturalism, Islamism
