Caliphates? Sounds bad to me...

When an Shia extremist group kidnapped a group of Persagonian journalists and killed one of the journalists in 1983. Our intelligence agency, the SAVAMA, in retaliation, kidnapped one of the plotters' relatives and castrated him and shot him in the head. His severed body parts would later be delivered in a neatly-made package to the group's leader. The group later released the hostages in fear of continued actions like these.

As a Muslim irl, anyone who uses religion as a reason to cause harm to others deserves whatever they get. Seeing pictures of ISIS soldiers being slaughtered gives me joy i cant describe.

Many fundamentalists, especially those in the Middle East, dislike Heavenly Emperor Cheonsa because he is always defending artistic freedom in The Caliphate of Earth's meetings. He also advocates less restriction in inter-gender interaction and freedom for women to wear whatever they want.

What if someone from outside the tribe beats the chief? Is that person still eligible to become leader? That's a good way to choose a leader, nevertheless, meritocracy is great.

So far, the only member of the Amenrian imperial family known to be able to whistle is Heavenly Empress Somi. It is unknown whether her daughter, Hyesoo can whistle too, though there's a pretty good chance that she can.

It was basically an inter-tribal duel to the death, only could happen if they formally called out their own Khai. Someone from another tribe attacking another tribe's Khai meant war would be declared.
Whistling is a good trait, the Zharijianese Mountain Warrior Brigade use whistling to communicate with each other during surprise attacks.

The kicker? He and his party also vowed that Atlantis will have nuclear weapons. And not just hand-me-down Tridents: LOCALLY MANUFACTURED nuclear weapons. This made him and his party "dangerous" in the eyes of many people.

Fortunately, Marius Izoli, also a right-wing politician, albeit a less radical one, became PM instead of him, though he did vow to expand the arms manufacturing sector and strengthen Atlantis in the world stage, but not by an aggressive foreign policy.

In the absence of civilisation, the Syndicates have taken to using laminated concert tickets as a sort of labour-based pseudo-currency. The value of a ticket is determined (informally!) by the quality of the artist.

...That's...probably the weirdest currency of which I have ever heard.

In the Toraian language, the word for a political state means “little kingdom” when literally translated (an artefact of the old monarchical government.) So when the Toraians first heard about the United States in the 1780s, they thought that it was a confederation of many tiny kingdoms in a weird alliance where one overlord-king was ruling them.

All MPs must have a degree in Politics or Political Science. That said, mayors, governors, etc who wish to be MPs usually devote some time to getting a Politics or Political Science degree.

The Abrahamic religions demonised homosexuality and women.

We considered that here too, but the parliament decided to widen the restriction to any finished bachelor's degree. However, it is something my RL self agrees with very much. Can't have stupid politicians now, can we?

In 1987 the Government of the Crown Territory of Hong Kong decided to demolish and renovate the Kowloon Walled City. However, this met a protest from the People's Republic of China, who claimed that it was still administered by them. This caused a sort of 3-day mini international incident.

When the Chinese representative to the UN presented his claim, the British representative, Sir Albert Pearson, phoned Buckingham Palace itself. Upon receiving permission from former Queen-Empress Elizabeth II, he simply told the Chinese ambassador: "You, sir, have no right to complain... unless you're willing to see Peking a smoldering, radioactive crater."

The Chinese ambassador immediately backed down and kept quiet.

It is still seen today as one of the most "bad-ass" moments in international diplomacy.

After the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia, the Communist Party of Germany eventually decided to formally cut ties with the USSR while announcing if brought to power it would enact a "communism with a human face" like Czechoslovakia attempted. At the same time it supported the ruling party's decision to welcome Czechoslovakians fleeing the country. While many still didn't fully trust them, it was one of the rare times they agreed with other "capitalist" parties.

It's probably a good idea that you severed ties with the USSR.

Before people can start whining about how the Christians “ruined” Toraian folk religion...the gods in the folklore were jerks who “punished” mortals for no real reason and dictated that women are fundamentally inferior to men, to the point where one’s wife was seen as worth little more than a slave or a house pet. That’s hardly worth “preservation.”
The morbid details, for those who are curious...

The work of the Christian missionaries helped elevate the status of women in Toraian society to the point of being coequals with men. Its effects are profound, I’d say.

At least it did some good.
In regards to the affect on the Scandinavians, the opposite occurred. Women’s rights were curtailed under Christianity.

In Fāskeland, homosexuals, vegans and others have surprising amounts of freedom. Homosexuals can adopt, marry, run for office and generally have all the freedoms of their race.
They’re seen as contributors to reproduction, taking in the orphaned and the tossed aside. German children who were orphaned after the war were the most adopted by homosexuals because racially Finnic, Uralic and other Fāske children were already adopted at the time.

I like that, Zharijistan has culturally been been very accepting of homosexuality and since the 1920s has several laws ensuring they are not discriminated against.

Zharijistan was the only independent country in the Mongol empire's territory. They earned the respect of Genghis Khan after several unsuccessful invasion attempts through the mountains surrounding the country.

The Zharijianese language has no known language related to it, just like Korean and Basque. For english speakers it can be as difficult as Arabic and Japanese to learn without immersion.

The Fāske language is an artificial language based upon Latvian, Estonian, Finnish and Yakut. Some hints of German are found in it.
It was created to serve as a lingua Franca in Fāskeland and a pan-finno-Ugric language.
