Not such a bad tradition if no one gets hurts, and brings family together. Although I question the message of showing power to your enemies.

The Government of the English Regions and its institutions from 1806 have followed a policy of "questioning agnosticism" or since 1977, solely "agnosticism". Since 1940s, there has been a rather fierce debate, as immigration rose on the constant need to balance between groups whether the state should adopt a policy of "secularism". This has been in particular important on discussions in education in terms of religious education and in regard to equal government funding of religious institutions (This ended in 1998).

The government in charge of religious issues is just a wast of time and just authoritarian

The Commonwealth of Cascadia was formed when the American states of Washington, Oregon, and California issued its own Unilateral Declaration of Independence (UDI) from the United States on 11 November 2020, immediately denounced as an "act of rebellion against the Federal Government". The day following the declaration of independence, the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution calling upon all states to accord Cascadia recognition (The United States does not recognize the independence of Cascadia). Cascadia is unique among modern democratic nations in that Cascadia practices direct democracy. Approximately four times a year, voting occurs over various issues; these include both initiatives and referendums, where policies are directly voted on by people, and elections, where the populace votes for officials. Direct democracy allows any citizen to challenge any law approved by the parliament or, at any time, propose a modification of the federal Constitution.

That sounds unrealistic and honestly very doubtful. The proposal would be veto’d even if the UN had the spine to propose such a thing. I guess it’s an alright thing that America is smaller, though.
The Eudean religion is a decentralised but organised pagan religion inspired by the RL religions of Shinto, Tengriism, Zoroastrianism and Chinese Folk Religion. The chief deities are characterised as being embodied by celestial objects like the sun, the moon and the stars. The moon goddess is the wife of the sun god, and their children include the earthbound spirits and mankind. Fire is used as a sacred symbol of the sun while the same is true for water and the moon.

Lesser deities include deities of agriculture, the hearth, the crafts and more. Spirits are magical beings that are like a midway point between god and mortal, and act like both the yōkai and spirits of Japanese folklore.

There are many sects of this religion, though the sect followed by the royalty and upper class is the most common. Some sects are more animistic, others dualistic and so on.

Quite an interesting religion.

Since Pride Month is around the corner, let's go into the relationship between the State, the LGBT community, and the Christian majority in Palmyrion.
Christians: *Majority support recognition of same sex marriage; resisted laws criminalising homosexuality; supported anti-discrimination laws, and legal adoption of children by gays; expressed support in allowing gays to vote, hold office, and openly serve in the state uniformed services; and as far back as the Roaring 20s formed militias to defend gays and transvestites at s time when they were being violently harassed, and even accepted destitute gays and transvestites into their homes.*

State: *crickets*

A <10 year old nutty fringe Christian group that everyone hates: *kills 1,287 people and assassinated the monarch during a Pride March back in 2019*

State: "All Christians are homophobes" *holds EXERCISE PINK DIAMOND, a nationwide counterterror exercise that depicts Christians and Muslims as homophobes who either shoot up gays or abet those who do*

I do notice you didn't mention a virtue for the Muslims when you banded them together with Christians in the 'EXERCISE PINK DIAMOND'. Am I to assume that Muslims in your country are as bad as the state suggests they are? Also, jfc 1,287 people isn't a joke, I'd have initiated EXERCISE PINK DIAMOND too.
The Universal Directive, a directive issued by the League of Nations in 2020 after the discovery of Skipspace, found support from fifty countries throughout the globe. This support came in form of research association, monetary funds, and when the first Skipdrives were invented, the dedication of a total of 3 million people from all 50 nations to be put to cryo-sleep aboard the ships throughout their journey into the Unknown. Of these countries, the US had the largest number of colonists, followed by Brazil. In fact, most countries couldn't help as much as the US was willing to, and as such banded together to procure the funds (and population) required for the Universal Directive: The whole of the Nordic Council managed to, for example, send 4.9 thousand people to The Hope (and 13,350 to the other 5 ships).

It makes sense that some nations would be able to supply more funds and people for global projects than others, but the fact that this project brought together so many countries is very much an applaudable achievement. I feel that the Universal Directive as a whole is a breakthrough for international cooperation.
Despite the dominance of its Asiatic population and culture, the etymology of Eudea is in fact Greek. It is believed that the first settlers were Greek Macedonians in the Age of Antiquity, whom were told by a now unknown deity to call the land “Eûdéās”, from the Greek words “εὖ” and “ἰδέα”.

Settlers from other places that followed adopted adopted the Greek name for the country, though in forms that worked best for their respective languages.

Not surprising, after all the Chinese did interact with the Greeks in Alexandria Eschate, and the Indians of north India interacted heavily with Greeks, to the point the Greek settlers may have influenced the first portrayals of the Buddha. It is very easy to see Greek influence lasting all through out the orient in one way or another.

In the year 1722, the ambassador to the kingdom of Great Britain, Publius Gnaeus Silvanus, was attending a public trial with associates, it was here that he was introduced to James Puckle's, Puckle Gun. Publius was intrigued by the concept of the weapon, and was eager to get the inventor to Rome to showcase it to his compatriots, while Jame's Puckle's weapon didn't make heady way in his home country (At least initially) it was considered a worthy investment by Rome.

The Roman military has been looking for lighter weapons to use on the field of battle, and the idea behind Puckle's invention was just what they needed. By the mid 1700's the Romans have began the mass production of Puckle Guns, locally known as the Volubilis Sclopetum (Revolving Gun), and began using them at both land and sea. On land, it joined the massive ranks of other artillery, where it was categorized as a Scorpio (Light Cannon). It was also used heavily by the navy, not only in battles against other countries, but in it's intended role against pirates, allowing the Romans to gain the advantage in the Mediterranean.

James Puckle Gun would eventually make it's mark in his home country when the British finally saw the worth of the weapon, and soon it became a weapon in the armories of various European powers. His invention would last up until it's role was largely subsumed by Gatling style weapons, although the more general idea of a revolving canon would still persist for some time after.

The Puckle Gun is designated to this day as the Scorpio Volubilis Sclopetum XXII Britannic.

Revolvers are an important invention, but "Puckle Gun" just sounds way too silly.

The Cosmic Mainframe invented the technology for travel between universes nine years ago. At the moment it's highly unreliable, often arriving at a time as much as a year different from the time at which they are intended to arrive. This works both ways; it is expected that anyone or anything sent into another universe could return far later than expected, or sometimes before they are actually sent.

I think it obviously needs more fine tuning before subjects are allowed to travel between universes, bar perhaps a select few.

All water sources and management in the English regions must be owned collectively as stated by the constitutional amendment of 2007. This effectively has resulted in all citizens over the age of 16 or 18 holding a non-sellable share in their multi-departmental water boards and sewage operators. In many states, each citizen has the the right to voting on five to ten years plans and this extends to voting for management. The latter part of this has resulted in a large discussion on how this form of participatory democracy fails due to the fact that turnout is quite low, even after reforms that have permitted e-democracy and lengthened voting periods. Certain politicians on both the left and right talk about a complacency and inability for necessary action to be taken, with those on left calling for direct state involvement and even nationalisations whilst the right have discussed the ability to have private stakeholders and permit individuals to sell the share they receive.

Collective ownership is not a particularly great idea nor does it adequately deal with the issue of scarcity, and what is the point of shares if they cannot be bought and sold?

Empress Azalaïs I, who ruled from 1792-1858 and who is remembered in Occitania and abroad as the "Mother of the Constitution (Occitan: la Maire de la Constitucion)" and the "Daughter of Liberty (Occitan: la Filha de la Libertat)", was once referred to by an emissary from the Tsar of Bulgaria as "Azalaïs Augusta" and as "Empress of the Romans". Whilst the emissary was corrected, this highlights how post-1792 Occitania was believed to be the "Third Rome" by much of Europe, as well as the general belief that Azalaïs I had resurrected the spirit of Rome and imbued it into the Occitan national identity.

Well, if our civilization failed to actually get back on it's feat, someone would have to take up the mantle. But of course it would always pale in comparison to the original.

Well done regardless.

During the First World War, the Roman Empire was one of the many belligerents fighting, specifically on the side of the Entente. During the heavy fighting of Trench warfare, countless lives were lost on both sides for only a little increase in ground gained. Now of course, as Romans we weren't just gonna keep bashing two rocks together till one breaks, thats barbarian thinking. So rather early on Imperial engineers were busy coming up with a way to get past the problem of no mans land, and get infantry to the other side safe and secure.

To remedy this, they came up with a vehicle that was light in armament, and held in it plenty of space to carry a compliment of troops all the way from one side of a trench to the other. This was the first armored personnel carrier, known as the Mark III Testudo, it completely changed the game of the war when introduced, and quickly became the bane of the Central powers whenever fielded. Now Roman troops did not have to run into no mans land to cross into enemy territory, safe in the security of their carriers. Combined with anti-infantry vehicles and tanks, and the highly mobile Roman Legion was able to quickly eat away at the enemies battle lines.

To this day, the Testudo family line is still on going, but of course with modern warfare in mind.

Lynching is okay if it's a pedophile, rapist, murders, corrupt politicians, Nazi, or Luddite. Beyond that, it's a cruel & unusual punishment.

The Honduran Civil War was actually a 3 way civil war between the Soviet-backed workers revolting against America's Big Agriculture which has been exploiting the country, the American backed Contra which wanted to keep the status quo of the Banana Republic to fuel their domestic consumer market, and Borgovian volunteers + corpos* whose vision of 'exploitation' is more consumer-oriented instead of America's production oriented. There are bankers and other well off Hondurans who want both the Communists and Americans out of their country, and that's the faction Borgovia unofficially backed.

It's unofficial because the Federal Government in Montevideo sided with no one, however, their economic model towards other countries influenced Borgovian corporations to take advantage of the Central American Crisis: in the case America loses to the Soviets, at least there are Borgovian Corporations keeping Communism away from Latin America. US Troops were sent to crush the revolt while the workers were supplied with Soviet weapons. Honduran Corpos had the support of Borgovian corporations wanting to make an entry into the Central American market, and this resulted in 4.000 Borgovian volunteers and hired guns fighting alongside the Corpos. While Honduras remained under America's sphere, defeating both the Communists and Borgovian Corpos, the USA reevaluated how it treats other countries.

While America wanted Honduras to remain a poor, corrupt country that produces fruits for American consumers, Borgovia wanted to develop Honduras to have a sizable middle class just so they can buy Borgovian products but keep their labour wages low enough that imports from Honduras remain cheap. An economic win-win for Borgovian Capitalism. The United States saw that the way Borgovia does it in Nigeria, for example, to not only benefits Borgovia's economy through cheap goods flowing through, but Nigeria is economically strong enough to take on the Communist horde that claimed most of Africa. Nigeria also has a middle class that buys Borgovian goods, which boosts Borgovian exports as well as exporting Borgovian culture, philosophy, and media, allowing them to eventually influence foreign country's media, social attitudes, and consumer trends. So in the end, JFK adopting the 'Borgovian Method' despite winning in Honduras, practically made Borgovia the winner who got what they wanted in the long haul.

*In Borgovia, "Corpo" is a slang for someone who is middle class with a corporate job, has a corporate title, and/or is a shill for Corporations/Borgovian Liberal Party.

So in that conflict the Soviets are the only ones who deserved to be involved? Real politics and war is about principles and interdimensionary/metaphysical concerns like religion, not money. Shame on you.

The motto of the Imperial Amenrian Armed Forces is "God, Emperor, Country". The particular order is important, as each individual soldier serves God before anything and anyone else. While this is usually interpreted as them being the good guys who fight for what's right just because, the meaning could also be extended to a more practical sense. For example, soldiers regularly raid haunted areas to kill dangerous ghosts and/or demons that pose a threat to the populace. Another example would be how they deal with magic users. Their priority is to arrest them so they can be rehabilitated to prevent them from becoming ghosts themselves and being enslaved by their patron ghost/demon after their first death and being sent to Hell after their second.

Directly serving an “unknowable” deity sounds like nothing more than arrogance and excessive self importance. What makes one think that what one is doing is really “god’s will”, and not some machination of the mind? Bah, it’s all bullshite to me, it would make more sense to serve only the country and its monarch than some deity.

We're sota surprised that for a nation that bases itself on free market values, that the urbanite merchant-class of the city didn't weigh in...well...unless the noble families were also merchants.

Second to "Germany", the other most disliked nation in the world (or at least, Europe) according to the PalTV World Service Poll is France. This is caused, in great part, because of the perceived decade-long complacency of Vichy France's volunteers in Nazi Germany's genocidal killing sprees in Eastern Europe, in policing the rest of occupied Western Europe and their apparent willingness to have helped kill 95% of Jewry. Its a creeping memory they collectively won't be allowed to live down in the foreseeable future of two or three generations. Though it can be said the Northern portion of France and the French people were also major victims of Himmler's Scorched Earth policy, the epitome being the near-destruction of Paris, many Western critics and historiographers consider that French sources try too hard painting themselves as just being victims. Many Eastern Europeans downright hate the French as much as the Germans now.

Secondary reasons are either historical backlash from now influential ex-colonies, like Vietnam, or from competing economies in the region, like the Mediterranean Union. Though ironically, the Exiled Free French government that continued the 4th Republic after 1952 in Lyon, is still considered a founding UN member and kept most island overseas possessions.

You know my opinion on France. I can only fullheartedly support the general dislike for France, though I would hardly call Vichy France the greatest collective crime of the French People, I suppose it's understandable that Eastern Europeans care more about that than the other stuff France has done throughout the ages.

While the Army and the Navy are two separate branches of the Armed Forces of the Sildorian Empire, it must be considered that the larger part of the Sildorian Army in fact spend the majority of their time aboard Voidcrafts. While Defense Columns exist in large numbers to protect Sildorian Worlds and act as Law Enforcement in those Worlds that don't have an autonomous law enforcement (small colonies, for example), the larger Spacedrop Columns spend the large majority of their time aboard Sildorian Star Orders -a collection of fleets belonging to a single Sector.

Spacedrop Columns are specifically recruited for times of war, and their directive is occupation and pacification of hostile Worlds through Planetary Incursion Initiatives. As such, a Spacedrop Column spends most of its time aboard Voidcrafts, in particular Carrier voidcrafts that -as the name implies- carry them to the place they're supposed to attack.

Help fight against police brutality! (by Sho).

The Free Port of Cristina is a sovereign city-state, country and a microstate. The country is a free economic zone where companies are taxed very lightly to encourage economic activity.

Hmm, it looks like a sensible and rational policy to me. I rather like it. It reminds me of the RL Privy Council of my homeland. Very good.
The government’s pro-electric car policy is known as the “Full Spark Ahead Programme”, somewhat humorously inspired by the term “full steam ahead.” This policy is aimed at (almost) completely replacing fossil fuels and other polluting sources of fuel for vehicles with electricity.

You're thinking too small. Work on Cold Fusion, make every car nuclear :p. Jokes aside though, the idea has merit. Kudos.
