Al-Quasar? That sounds like a quasi-stellar object for me! I wonder if it was just a curious coincidence or rather something intended and highly symbolic? What might it symbolize, hmm? Quasars are humongously luminous. Something illuminating? I am probably overthinking it too much.

Naturolegism was designed to incorporate pagan and animistic native tribes, but eventually it had debunked Christianity.

I'm not entirely supportive of an organized religion being created to convert and/or otherwise move people away from their native faith. Then again it depends on the faith in question.

The Roman Empire has been in a state of non-stopped armed domestic conflict since March 1978. The conflict originally began as a Republican insurgency when a coalition of seventy militias banded together to form the National Republican Alliance and captured a number of cities in the Roman Province of Syria (most importantly Antiochia which was under rebel control until early March 2020) but soon enough it was bastardized into a myriad of separatist uprisings, progressive reformist militias and a number of socialist, republican and nationalist factions warring both each other and the Roman State. At its peak in the 1990s, there were seventeen active separatist movements, fourteen active republican and religious militias and at least thirty ideology-based militias of different types, and Rome controlled 5% of the entire territory.

It's unfortunate that Rome would suffer that fate. But it makes logical sense because even in ancient times Rome was a hotbed of insurgents. It was only inevitable that something like that would happen.

Monsone is technically in a parralel universe, but can be easily accesed with PT technology, and travel between the two universes is common. The portal or gateway to Monsone and it's universe is not know, and requires little to no effort to reach (you could fly there in a plane). However, when one enters the portal realms, there is always a constant cloud cover that only clears one past the gateway.

How would geopolitics work with a parallel universe in this case? Is the law of physics more or less the same? Is communication purely physical since you need to go through a portal to communicate?

After Alfonso Paoli dismantled the racial caste system (which states people of Greco-Roman, Confucian/Taoist, Indian, Persian, Levantine, Berber, Ethiopian, and Incan background are the 'master race'), and arresting/executing anyone who gets in his way of such reforms, Author Javier Zapata, now legally allowed to marry his Polish lover, wanted to ensure the next generation of Borgovians be represented since Germanic and Slavic Borgovians make up a noticable slice of the population but are historically marginalised as barbarians who "destroyed Rome" or in the case of Mongolians/Central Asians, "brought savagery to the civilised Greco-Persian world". So he wrote a book series overlapping IRL geography but with a fantasy element. The Greco-Roman-Egyptian themed Aurumkin Empire is the main antagonist, vassalising nearby Kingdoms and Empires and surrounding the protagonist nation, Kingdom of Vaskyar, a Germanic-Polish (Human) and Baltic (Werewolf) themed Kingdom founded through a marriage of a Human King and the daughter of a Lycan pack leader. The Vaskyarians (Germanic Europe, Netherlands, Denmark, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Baltia) hone the most elite Dark Mages, capable of summoning stone creatures, bringing anatomical horrors to life, or even necromancy under their control. They're also revered Wyvern riders and with the entire Lycan species loyal to the Kingdom, a powerful force, but not strong enough to take on the Aurumkin and their vassals should war break out. Allied (through marriage) to the Vaskyarians are the Tolvosk Empire (Western Russia, Belarus, Ukraine) ruled by a Warrior Queen who has slain nobility and incompetent generals in favour of an equal, meritocratic promotion system as well as peasant-owned farmlands and federalising estates to "Communes" whose directly elected representative answer to the Queen with concerns (somewhat of a Socialist Warrior State). Also allied to the main character, King Jan of Vaskyar, are the Bolad Alliance (Siberia and Mongolia) who are expert horse riders and archers as well as the Alabaastad Kingdom in Central Asia populated by Dwarves who make up for their less-than-stellar military with talented blacksmiths.

The Aurumkins sport mainly Greco-Roman themed Military with hints of Egyptian mysticism but also sport Light Mages (Healing, Teleportation, Buffing/Debuff) and Pegasus Knights to combat the Vaskyarian & Tolvosk Wyverns. Aurumkins are Human Supremacists who seek to dominate the world and "beautify it", heavy stratification within their society with the "Forum of 100" normally "switching bodies" with beautiful young boys/girls to stay immortal, leaving the poor child to die in an aging body, they also cast a spell on their entire warrior class to be honourable, loyal, etc so they will never defect and will always give it their all; their entire family serves the Forum of 100 from birth to death through magical brainwash. It's basically Roman themed North Korea with magic. Of course, this was Javier's jab at Borgovia: Selfish, greedy, Roman supremacists who'd give up their humanity to be beautiful. Javier also felt making the Slavic-Germanic-Mongolian kingdoms the 'good guys' would balance out all the racist representations those people had, and because Javier fell in love with their "subhuman" folklore that he wanted to share their culture through fantasy books and knock his own privileged culture down a notch in some love-bird bitterness. In the last book, Kingdom of Ashbury (UK and Ireland) broke from the Aurumkin vassalage and began its conquest of Europe after being the first to have the Industrial Revolution, overrunning soldiers, mages, and even artificial monstrosities through coal-powered, weather resistant Machines. The Aurumkins became a reluctant ally in the final book. Surprisingly, it sold well in Latin America and even the Soviet Union.
Was once a ruthless capitalist Corporate State in South America (1800s - 1950s), but has since reformed into a Social Democratic, Federal, Parliamentary Republic whose politics is 90% of my irl views. We're Italo-Spanish-Chinese influenced and thus there's a lot of Chinese and Greco-Roman cultural references.

The world in this nation is changing for the better, current year is 2042.

Call us "Borgovia".

Quite a long time to get rid of a caste system that was outdated long ago anyway

The Federal Republic of Abuddin is a family dictatorship where the President who holds a life term exercises absolute political power over the state. However under the leadership of the current President Jamal Al-Fayeed Abuddin who has been described as a Benevolent dictatorship with regard for benefit of the population as a whole. Since assuming power Abuddin tops the rank of absence of terrorism, it ranks high on global measures of personal rights, tolerance, and inclusion issues acknowledging the policy of legalizing the production, sale and consumption of cannabis. Same-sex marriage and abortion are also legal. Abuddin is ranked first in the Middle East in democracy, peace, low perception of corruption, e-government, and is first when it comes to press freedom, size of the middle class and prosperity.

While the legalization of same-sex marriage and abortion is a surprising show of civility for a dictatorship, I must ask are you sure the gov't itself isn't the organization that's ranked the country among the rest of the ME where democracy, peace, low perception of corruption, e-government, press freedom, size of the middle class and prosperity are concerned?

The Roman Empire has been in a state of non-stopped armed domestic conflict since March 1978. Sounds like regular sports fanatics to be honest.

Burkes tend to possess a libertarian outlook influenced by a multicultural ethos that is of Nordic, French, Irish, Acadian, and Native American origin. However, Burkes are like the Icelanders in that they place a premium on independence and self-sufficiency. Over 95% of Burkes reportedly value independence as "very important". In addition, Burkish culture places great value on personal quests for honor and glory, leading many to travel and take part in missions abroad. Thousands of Burkes currently serve with foreign militias such as the YPG in Syria, and humanitarian service movements such as the Free Burma Rangers in Myanmar. While the Burkes generally oppose interventionist policies, they are proud that thousands of their own volunteer to fight for human rights all over the globe. Because of this individualist empowerment, most Burkes are capable warriors in their own right. Older generations often pass down training in martial arts, marksmanship, trauma care, etc. to their descendants, and the public education system mandates gun safety and first aid courses.

However, it would be inaccurate to think of Burkes as war-mongering brutes obsessed with fighting and warfare; glory and honor mean something different to them. It can be gained from any worthy challenge, regardless of whether one succeeds or fails. It does not matter if a child places last in a middle school spelling bee, or if a renowned war hero defeats a hundred enemies with his bare hands, as long as they fought to overcome their challenges with all their strength, then honor is gained. The only times failure is looked down upon is when one does not fight with honor and with all their strength; laziness, dishonesty, cheating, and cowardice are reviled among Burkes, and can lead to social isolation until one proves themselves worthy again.

The Burkish language itself is a reflection of this cultural more; the Burkish language has more terms of insult than any other tongue in the world, but distinct in that its pejoratives are concerned with the aforementioned weaknesses. While most nations choose insults that are based on parentage or appearance, the majority of Burkish pejoratives are concerned with cowardice, stupidity, laziness, dull conversation, or lack of hygiene. It reveals the preoccupations of an egalitarian warrior culture where bloodline matters less than personal qualities.

The Klingon approach to insults! I approve!

Just remember, the Klingon word for 'slimeball' is 'Huh'! (sounds more like the 'huh' in 'War! >huh< What is it good for?)

Perhaps the most important aspect of Kal'Shazzar's development of the Ascension drug is the fact that it creates a chemically-induced biological connection to the Godulan Psi-Net. Godulans themselves rely on this network to transfer their consciousness from body to body, but the connection between the Ascension and the Godulan network is read-only in nature, so the Godulans can issue orders, compulsions, and status inquiries, while the Ascension can only receive such signals and formulate replies. Within the Ascension itself, this connection forms an instinctive link between Ascendant Lords and their respective retinues of Slag Zombies.

This biological link has one odd side-effect, in that an Ascendant Lord speaking through their psionic connection to an other Ascendant Lord tends to look in the direction of the Ascendant Lord it is addressing, regardless of distance or intervening objects. This has a potentially amusing result of causing an Ascendant Lord to occasionally stare at otherwise featureless walls or empty space in complete silence (as such communications are solely telepathic in nature).

The Godulans have compared this feature's appearance to that of when a cat becomes inexplicably fascinated with a wall, and occasionally wonder if cats are secretly plotting conquest and sending intelligence data during such episodes. They say it explains a great number of things.

But maybe given the inter-dimensional distances, they could only control Earth's household cats as a plan for world domination. That will be pretty darn funny... and at the same time, horrifying. :P

A nation with one person-themed nation? Not much interesting.

In 2140, a new law has been introduced, which enables cuckolds (both male and female) to do everything with their betraying spouses and his/her lover everything, with the written consent of the office and if they have evidences of betrayal. In Marsoslavia, cuckolds with that consent can kill, kidnap, torture, rape, mutilate, rob, deprive of their property, enslave etc., or show mercy to their spouse and his/her lover. However, showing mercy to betraying spouses and their lovers is rare and met with rejection by other people. That law has been introduced by Jan I, who was also betrayed by his first wife, Yustyna Yanushkievich, a lawyer of Belarussian origin. She has been executed with her lover, Kvido Stejskal, a Czech hard-worker, by Jan I, by shooting them at the Unity Square, in front of a lot of people, including three children of King, at 30th of March. From that event and introducing the new law, people are afraid of betraying their spouses. Two weeks later, after the execution, Jan I married Tetyana Yuriyivna Chervenko, his Ukrainian footwoman. He begetted another four children with her.

I'm already concerned about the laws abetting revenge, and that they go far beyond what ethics permits. I'm even more concerned that taking the most moral option is considered to be bad. Mars is in need of a serious cultural shift.

Honestly, that seems pretty cool, being either able to explore the entire world from one room or have a home even while exploring the entire world. I am kind of jealous.

Let's see. Artificial Intelligences have been elected to both houses of Congress.

Folk tales are interesting and they’re nice pieces of local folklore, and this is no exception. They’re cute.
Members of the Ekhnukhid dynasty are incredibly long-lived and remain youthful for far longer in comparison to other people. The last Ekhnukhid monarch was Arman II, who ruled for 153 years between 1833 and 1986, when his daughter Akeldama was coronated after his abdication. Akeldama is in her 80s but looks to be still in her early twenties. The downside to this blessing is a literal thirst for blood and lower fertility than regular mortals.

That's actually pretty nice.

We technically have four leaders, all of them from different ethnicities and countries, and all of them female. They're all referred as "lady", "founder", or "president".

Technically, none of the four is superior to the others, but it is Aroush who legally owns the island and picks up most of the decision. She's the closest thing to a leader. But, we don't think much about it, Aroush's official position name is "Blue Chair", Elek'tra's is "Red Chair", Darillys is "Yellow Chair", and Lady Aranea is "Lady", "Countess Manga Roa" or "Black Chair".

Once Lady Aranea dies, Aroush, Elek'tra, and Darillys will propably all become countesses of different parts of the island, with Aroush getting the biggest part including the capital, while Darillys and Elektra get one city each.

You need an opinion on AN's facts btw. But to stay on topic:
So he's something akin to a Witcher or X-Men Mutants? Interesting.

Even though the Technocracy's entire existence is to preserve and advance the human species given our origins as an authoritarian government spawning from near extinction events, the Technocracy still believes human extinction is inevitable. For one: Why is it suddenly Humanity came into non-physical communication with other advanced alien species who are within 200-600 years off of each other in terms of becoming space-faring civilisations? The oldest ones have been around in space for a little over 1.000 years. No way did this huge galaxy barely began spawning advanced civilisations in such a short gap of time, and 1/4 of the galaxy has already been mapped. If we assume the other quadrants share similar conditions, then it's estimated between 25 - 30 civilisations exist in the Milky Way. Where is everybody else?

Fossil remnants on Earth and Xervian homeworld (the only aliens to successfully genetically engineer each other to not catch diseases when we physically come into contact) showed historical extinction events, but none towards space-faring species. However, Humanity, using fossils from Earth, believe our extinction is inevitable and thus have created a "Museum of Life" containing DNA samples of all living things humans have come into contact with, including the Xervians who volunteered a piece of their hair and blood. In the case it degrades within millions of years, a "Arithmetic Language" was used to describe the RNA and DNA of such samples, explaining the origins of life on Earth and the discovery of new life beyond the Origin System. The Museum of Life also contain music samples, a "Rosetta Stone", art, the entire historical archive of mankind, even cooking recipes. Believing both the Taloans, Biomechanical androids made in human likeness and the Museum of Life to be the only things outliving mankind, the Technocracy has militarised this museum even beyond border control in hopes in the time humans go extinct, the Taloans can carry on human legacy and should they disappear too, Arithmetic can explain what happened before. The closest thing to immortalising the human race.

An interstellar Technocratic & Progressive, albeit Fascist state ruled by Administrator Nadia Elbaz, elected by the Technocratic Council, a committee of intellectual elites. Only Academic elites can hold political power. Anti-Technocracy advocates are "Recycled" in the name of progress. Citizenry is taken care of so they can focus on innovation or service to the Technocracy.

If I was in that universe, I think I'd become a conspiracy theorist and start peddling the notion that there weren't any preceding aliens at all; the galaxy's present species were simultaneously raised by cosmic beings to compete on fair footing for their amusement or something. Human extinction may not be inevitable; we just need to win.

Ah, but the museum approach is cute. I'd think the smartest approach would be digitize as much as feasible, create as many backups as possible, and scatter them around the galaxy to ensure that at least one copy's still around after a billion years or whatever. Sort of what the Taloans embody, I guess.

Emulated environments ("emvis") in the K-Sphere often involve intricately crafted stories beyond the capability of their Freed participants to represent by themselves. "NPC" characters in various games or stories typically come in two forms: either they are retrofitted Colonial Minds (minds originally created by the K-Sphere's overseeing AI for stress-testing purposes), or they are loaded into the participants' shared environmental data budget (that is to say, effectively, VRAM), not really "conscious" in any true sense but indistinguishable from it. Nonetheless, these minds are deleted or wiped in one way or another when the story ends, so that the Colonial Mind can be reused or the participants can use their environmental data for something else.

A few communities despise the notion that these characters — even the ones who were not really "alive" — are destroyed in this manner. With permission from those they visit, minds from these communities enter emvis about to shut down to retrieve as much information about them as possible. If exact data is not available, they copy historical records or even get verbal testimony.

The ultimate purpose of this is to reconstruct copies of lost characters and instantiate them in a safe environment with the intention of having it last until the K-Sphere itself shuts down. Some community members give up most of their data to safely store thousands of simplified characters at once. Such an act is seen as giving a well-deserved afterlife to the people — however fictional or p-zombie-like — who've played important roles in others' stories.
"You are not the person they think is hiding inside you. You're the person who can see yourself clearly."

Holder of Dreams and the K-Sphere are tirelessly working to put your preferences first and mortality last. Planetary upload procedures available on request!
