SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!!!!!!1!!i

Expanding on the previous info:

The Ascension is made up of clones that have been cybernetically enhanced and infused with nanotech that allows them extreme levels of durability and regenerative capacity. Ascension Slag Zombies move at a constant sprint, tearing across the combat zone and traversing difficult terrain with the practiced ease of a parkour master. To give a workable image, think something along the lines of a borderlands psycho, but dead silent and possessed of near-perfect aim with their Fractal Pistols.

Due to their distributed intelligence, Slag Zombies are capable of an instinctive level of coordination that can have the eerie result of one zombie randomly firing in an odd direction without looking, picking off an enemy soldier that is otherwise distracted by other zombies.

The fractal pistols they wield are relatively low power, but render all forms of material armor meaningless, due to the fractal’s capacity to tear even quarks to shreds if they are caught within the shatterspace anomaly.

Sounds quite impressive, quite an advantage in military technology

Since 2022, the U.S. was unable to repay its massive war debts to North Korea, causing friction between the two countries. The UMSS was founded following the conclusion of the Korean-American War. With the United States under GKR occupation, known as the "New Korean Federation of Occupied America", a puppet state of the Greater Korean Republic, now a major superpower. The large majority of the American people—very desperate and deeply impoverished—turned against their government and welcomed the North Koreans for their promise of providing humanitarian and economic aid to the country. The government soon fell under the control of military governor Steven Kyle, who consented to Korean occupation.

That doesn't really make sense, unless North Korea in YN's timeline is democratic. Rural Americans would most likely rebel against having their weapons taken and urban Americans would most likely rebel against having their rights taken, if North Korea is authoritarian in YN's timeline.

Outer Space in NT's timeline is regarded mostly as a place unconquered by humanity, though this view is losing ground.

In 2025, the first ever privately-owned space station, the Top of The World hotel, was launched from Baikonur Spaceport as a joint venture between Hilton-Waldorf Astoria, a Columbian luxury hotel brand, and NovKosmos, a New Transeurasian space technologies development company. It was really only available to the rich, being NSD 130000 per night. The Top of The World hotel failed financially, but was seen as a success for NovKosmos, as no problems with the hotel were reported. The hotel was taken out of orbit in 2029, but was seen as a technological success paving the way for the expansion of nations and companies into Outer Space.

3 years after the first manned mission to mars(A collaboration of the NTKA, New Transeurasian Space Agency, NASA, and the ESA), SpaceX made its' first commercial trip to Mars, transporting supplies to the Acidalia Base, which was established by the first manned mission to Mars. Since then, multiple manned bases on the Moon and Mars have been established, by both companies and nations. The largest is currently Mare Nectaris Starport on the moon, owned by the New Transeurasian company Advance Technologies. Advance does offer a moon hotel at 72000 NSD per night. It has become a popular vacation spot for the richest people(or the people that can afford it), and it includes a Lunar golf course.

How morbid. I know there's a lot of weird traditions pertaining to government around the world, but this is definitely one of the most blatant.

Always useful to be prepared.

Servant children undergo significant amounts of physical and martial training starting at a very young age. Combined with a heavily controlled (yet diverse and highly nutritious) diet, as well as the high degree of academic involvement, each Servant is very dangerous in combat even without their powers.

Their physical conditioning and martial muscle memory can seem superhuman by themselves. It is however their capacity to improvise and adapt that make them true terrors on the battlefield. It is VERY difficult to ever catch Servants at a loss.

Admirable that you seek to optimise your citizens for a healthy, educated future. However, it's concerning how it's not because the nation wants to be great, but because its first priority if military. Unless I read it wrong.

Unlike Japan and Russia, but like Germany, Borgovians do feel a sense of guilt and shame for their past history. The horrors Borgovians brought upon marginalised populations still affect local population's perception of their nation especially how few events in history can compete with what went on in Fortuna during WWII (Young German/Hungarian/Bulgarian POWs dressed as women, have their teeth removed, and used as catamites/'comfort women' being one of the very few horrible things Borgovians did). Still, Borgovia, like Germany, have very unsavory admirers of their history. We all know how cringe Wehraboos are and how they tend to romanticise Germany to the point of crossing the legitimate Nazi-sympathiser lane if gone unchecked, but what about "Borgoboos"?

Most Borgoboos are actually from Eastern and Southern Asia where history with Borgovia is historically very amicable which could explain their romanticism despite historical atrocities. However, like Wehraboos, Borgoboos completely ignore the horrible side of Borgovian history. Borgovians during WWII literally dress young Hungarian/Bulgarian/German POWs like women and rape them in brothels. They went as far as breaking their teeth so they don't resist and are so broken, the POWs stopped crying after a while when they mush bread with water to be edible since chewing with your gum is painful. Borgovian-Gothic (Black, Gold, and Purple) and Borgovian-Serene (White colour base with Red, Yellow, Blue, or Black colour design) aesthetics may be gorgeous, the cultural duality between Western and Eastern cultures may be truly fascinating, and their militarism towards education is admirable, but Borgoboos sweeped it under the rug the same way Wehraboos like to downplay the negative side of German history. When a Borgoboo from Japan or Korea visits, for example, Borgovians do cringe when they romanticise the Corpus Era as a time of grace, beauty, loyalty-over-blood honour system, obsession with love, etc when only the Corpus/Upper Class/Upper Middle Class commoners have the privilege of practising/preaching those.

That’s incredibly dumb and I’m surprised no one’s completely demolished you yet.
One major focus of the government in London is the reacquisition of companies, trademarks and products that originated in the British Isles. Companies such as Rolls Royce, Lea & Perrins, Tetley, Mini and a multitude of other brands and properties are foreign-owned - something the government is very against. This focus is unofficial, with government forces engaging in corporate espionage and outright unethical practices in addition to buyouts to put these companies back into the hands of Britons. This economic nationalism extends to infrastructure such as airports and railways. As a consequence of its nationalist economic policies xenophobia has risen throughout Britannia, with foreign corporate buyers and corporate giants often seen by the common people as untrustworthy, scheming, agents of subversion and sometimes - though rarely - outright evil.

The highest mountain in Gylthas is Mount Drox, located in the Drox mountain range in Marinland. It is 3,681 m tall.

It has a city near 565 m from the peak called Drox. This city, while not car-free, can be accessed only by cable car, funicular or helicopter. The city is known for its predominantly kobold and harpy inhabitants, though humans also live here. With most of the city being 3,116 m from the ground and the peak being part of city limits, the city is the highest city in all of Gylthas.

At the peak is an observatory run jointly by the Royal Marinish Astronomical Association and the Imperial Astronomical Association of Gylthas.

I mean, 565 meters is high, but not that high considering the mountain's actual height. How many people live in that city though? (And really, the City of Drox on Mount Drox, in the Drox Mountain Range? I'm just surprised the region isn't called Droxland. Who named it? Someone named Drox?

Cyprus was formally granted its independence by the British Commonwealth in late 1963. Within seven weeks, the Republic of Turkey, following the example of the Federation of South Africa a decade earlier, declared war on Cyprus, arguing that the island being part of the Ottoman Empire was justification enough for an annexation. The invasion was doomed from the start. Israel immediately dispatched its fleet to the island to aid in its defense, Persia, Hashemite Arabia, Greece, and Bulgaria immediately began a land invasion of Turkey from four sides, while the Commonwealth of Nations (at that point made of nine states including the British Commonwealth Itself) similarly mobilized for war. While the Turkish invasion force was crushed within seven days of the declaration of war, the true end of the war did not end until an army of 80,000 Turkish Cypriots, collaborating with Turkey to establish a Turkish state on the island, were crushed in Rizokarpaso on 13 January 1964. The Treaty that solidified the peace between the two powers (legally, the Commonwealth of Nations and the Republic of Turkey) formally returned a population of 500,000 Turkish Cypriots back to Turkey. The annual celebration of the Battle of Rizokarpaso has been a point of feud between Cyprus and Turkey ever since.

Although the FRCP sustains little to no psychological care programs for its people short of a swift and private execution, the sole leader of the government himself is mentally ill. The Principle Chairman currently suffers from what is commonly known as psychosis, with symptoms similar to schizophrenia beginning to be seen. The shadowy forces that preside over the care of the despot have mostly searched for new and stronger antipsychotics in an attempt to mask his condition, but short of inviting foreign doctors in to work their miracle cures, there is little to be done that doesn't compromise state security.

huh, i wonder how well the leaders condition is hid, and how many people have caught on.

Catsfern is home to many types of demi-humans including neko girls, dog girls, harpies, lamia, cyclops, and scylla. Each type of demi-human has unique characteristics that set it apart from regular humans. Neko girls for example posses cat like ears and a tail as well as a second set of vocal chords that can produce cat like sounds such as meowing and purring. Dog girls are similar with dog like features in the form of dog like ears and a tail as well as extra vocal chords that can bark and growl. Harpies lack regular arms having semi functional wings in their place, but they also posses strong bird like legs ending in talons that the harpie uses to grasp things. Lamia have snake tale for a lower body, a highly specialized jaw that can both chew regularly and unhinge like a snake, a long tongue split at the end, and an extra set of translucent eyelids. Cyclopes are the most human like demi-humans with their only notable difference being that they have one large central eye lather then two smaller eyes. Finally scylla have 8 tentacles in place of legs; each tentacle can act individually, but they tend to remain held in two groups of 4 to act as legs.

I wonder why the Scyllans would go to that trouble.

Though the Godulan Revenant is a formidable machine of war, it is the M’Lekk’Torr that one would be more justified to fear. Their natural resistance to energy, including mechanical forms, makes them HIGHLY resilient when combating foes with advanced weaponry. It is also this very resistance that makes them virtually undetectable by many forms of sensor equipment.

They are naturally in a state of semi-detachment from physical reality, which gives them the capacity to shift out of phase with real matter or take control over how they are affected by the very laws of physics. This allows them to phase through solid matter and attack from virtually any direction with practiced ease.

With these abilities in mind, it becomes something of a shock that the creatures that are infused with humans (or chiss) to produce these terrifying soldiers are in fact the weakest of their kind, and that their kind are the weakest of prey animals in their home realm.

Recently, Vulgarians are more and more marrying Graznavians (usually Vulgarian male and Graznavian female). But often Graznavian women in relationships with Vulgarian men, they were marrying them only for money! This trend started to grow in 1973, when Graznavians were emigrating for work to Vulgaria. Graznavia was a poor country and dependent from Vulgaria since 1912. Both nations were suffering during the emmigration of Graznavians to Vulgaria. A lot of Vulgarians were unemployed and working Graznavians were often abused and exploited by their Vulgarian bosses. In Vulgaria, Graznavian ultra-nationalism and Vulgarian anti-Graznavism was flourishing and that caused also family conflicts (for example Lech's XXI father, Mirosław III forbade his son to approach two Graznavian girls (now they are Lech's XXI wives) who met them at school. For breaking the ban he was punishing him physically.). In 90's, 60% of Graznavians living in Vulgaria, emmigrated to Feldenberg, Ixania, Florin, Bacteria etc.
Ethnicity in Vulgaria (1978):
Vulgarians: 66%
Graznavians: 31%
Others: 3%

Ethnicity in Vulgarian Autonomy (2027):
Vulgarians: 91%
Graznavians: 5%
Others: 4%

Lech XXI came to power in Vulgaria in 1983. He united in 1986 Vulgaria and Graznavia into a one state. He also strongly focused on fighting the Graznavian ultra-nationalism and anti-Graznavism.

Wait so he's fighting himself or trying to keep the nation from splitting? Despite the wierd combination that grew into the Tundrans today we have very few problems with foreigners...probably because they're dead.

In Tundra Terra it is legal to own virtually every weapon that has ever existed in the universe. This has included WMDs and with entire corporations dedicated to producing them for the wider public. The government decision was made to allow this for a few, yet practical reasons: 1) Weapon restrictions give the edge to the opponent regardless of form. 2) If there is a weapon there will be a counter measure developed to contain it so it makes no sense to waste funds on suppression. 3) The individual Tundran feels secure or prestigious when acquiring a deadly arsenal. 4) The Tundran government watches for but usually doesn't have to deal with insurrection.

Last week a wealthy person and a poor person got into a car crash. The freedom patrol (i.e. the police) determined that the poor person was At fault. Despite the untrue rumours, the freedom patrol were not bribed into the blaming the poor person (this is bullshit, they were bribed). Also, despite the rumours, the dash cam footage was not intentionally destroyed (true. Instead, the dash cam itself was intnetionally destroyed, not that it would matter, no investigation would hold the police accountable, as all levels of government support the freedom patrol). Since the poor person couldn't afford insurance, nor to pay for car repairs, the poor person's kidney was sold to pay the debt. That kidney ended up inside somebody from YOUR nation (i.e. the nation of the person replying to this)

What makes me curious is who's in charge of Turkey and why didn't they consider all these alliances before launching an attack? Also, is Turkey an anti-Israel state in this timeline since Turkey in the 60s was very supportive of Israel and NATO, so seeing a mix of Bulgaria, Britain, Iran, and Israel defending Cyprus must mean a lot deviated from OTL right? Interesting nonetheless given how controversial Cyprus is between Greeks and Turks.

Borgovia worships the Artists the same way they worship STEM. While the US has an obsession with sending kids to work Blue Collar jobs, Borgovia created a society where if you're not creative or pushing the boundaries of current knowledge, you're invisible. Business students and Blue Collar work are hailed as the 'default' career path as the country since the 1950s have an obsession with destroying all manual labour believing the more dependent on agriculture/manufacturing a country is, the more likely they are to be in the Middle Income Trap or see their GDP shrink. What's a better sign you're a developed country than if the average Borgovian works in skilled Blue Collar Jobs or graduated from Business School with the alternative being STEM and Art/Music/Entertainment/Sports?

To the eyes of Borgovia's economists, if you work in a farm or a factory, you are useless and a genetic defect. How dare you slow down Borgovia's progression to the top of the global supply chain by not studying Finance or Engineering? How dare you want to work in a factory instead of doing a Mechanic apprenticeship? How dare you keep our GDP Per Capita down? In the 1960s, the government bribed rural citizens to send their kids to school, sell their farmland to be owned by a corporation with machines, and have them work in construction to build infrastructure before retraining them for more skilled work. Or retire with pension if old. This reflects on Borgovia's education system: Students commit suicide if they're not able to write a thesis combining STEM and Social Science topics to fit one thesis and thus, are not allowed to graduate high school which will ruin their lives if they don't pass after several attempts. They're also expected to have some knowledge of Musical Instruments, Acting/Singing/Dancing, or Creative Writing/Art before they can move on to study a specialised topic for their future career(s).

Was once a ruthless capitalist Corporate State in South America (1800s - 1950s), but has since reformed into a Social Democratic, Federal, Parliamentary Republic whose politics is 90% of my irl views. We're Italo-Spanish-Chinese influenced and thus there's a lot of Chinese and Greco-Roman cultural references.

The world in this nation is changing for the better, current year is 2042.

Call us "Borgovia".

This is contradictory in some places. Do people have blue collar jobs or not? Also, if you don't have blue collar jobs, where do all your food and manufactured goods come from? Do you import everything? Also also, a high is useless if it alsp increases cost of living (which almost certainly will). You're better off increasing the number of Big Macs a person can buy.

I sincerely hope this is for double the cargo or some combination of equipment and people separation so that it may benefit your nation. Nonetheless I am happy to hear of progress and infrastructure in a typically wild area.

Ammong Tundra Terra's weapon developments was the discovery or harnessing of Dark Matter and Dark Energy. Now the stuff was normally out of the reach of the ordinary nation and much to their chagrin doesn't follow the standard rules of physics as we know it. For the Tundrans they have discovered a virtually limitless power source, but due to its vampiric nature it requires normal electricity consumption to expand in any significant enough growth to become a standard power source for the people and military. Thankfully advances in compact fusion technology from long ago often alleviate this problem for many cities and armies. Similarly, Dark Matter had been refined into a super material to be utilized by the Tundrans, but the creation involves the transmutation and reforging of certain materials to make it some of the toughest armor available. In the current timeline production is nowhere near mass production, but in the future with the Ashborn Armada it has become largely standard.
Current Status: Tundra is rocking with the Krieg...

I dunno man, those are some pretty suspicious power sources imo. Kinda like the things that'll bite you in the arse latter on.

There's an IC explanation for the stat bonuses that come with legendary equipment, which includes weapons, armour and accessories. Here's how it goes:

When a person uses an object often enough and keeps it for long periods of time, some of their Qi gets transferred to it. Now, this might not mean much when talking about the average person's phone, shoes, or comb, but think about powerful, prominent people, both in the past or present, like Joan of Arc, Blackbeard, or the Heavenly Emperor himself. A small amount of their Qi would be beneficial to whoever uses their used things. This is why Joan's armour gives its wearer courage, Blackbeard's cutlass, bonuses on darkness-based attacks, and Tianshi's ring, a bonus to luck and fire-based powers. They're so powerful even a small amount of their Qi could affect others.

Consistent world-building.
