That's unique. Just don't do it on non-Army vehicles, okay?

Atlantis is an MT nation that is the third richest country in the world, behind only China and the United States. It is closer to the USA, UK, Italy and Spain (in that order, though Italy and Spain is probably tied) culturally than it is Greece. It is also a naval power.

And no, Atlantis is not underwater: It has a land area around the size of France.

Pros: Classical liberalism, democracy, the West, Brexit, Viktor Orban, free education, strong military
Cons: Authoritarianism, fascism, communism, multiculturalism, Islamism

We allow our soldiers to do similar things with our military vehicles. However, this is not allowed on camouflaged vehicles, because it would defeat the purpose of it being "camouflaged" if it was covered in highly visible graffiti.

Edit: Isn't that going to make the ship more visible and easy to spot? You wouldn't be able to easily identify the ship's shape, but it's clear that something's there. Wouldn't you want to match the colors of the sky or the ocean instead?

In our nation's laws, we have a concept called "civil treason" where a government official can be sued and removed from office for failing to act in the best interests of the general public.

I dunno...it has good intentions and that's great for the public's political freedom, but seems like it could be very easily abused...

Pulling the collective heartstrings of the nation, PM Yascho Jairo recently adopted a little girl from a Toraian orphanage. Megarah Jairo is seven years old and as cute as a button. She likes dogs, eating candy, and painting. Yascho’s office is now bedecked in pictures she painted for him.

Everyone who has one takes their hat off and holds it to their chest for five seconds as a sign of approval. There is the occasional impromptu three-gun salute.

Everyone has a gun, and there are no gun laws. The murder rate is about 3 every 10 years, excluding the much higher gang violence, of which both sides have a main objective to not even shoot close to innocents let alone involve them. If one gang member spots another in the bar they leave and have a duel on the street.

Well they are "covert" so it's all good and game.

The Zitravgradian government under Miroslavsky has always been avoiding making a cult of personality out of the chairman, unlike other socialist/communist nations. His private life (if you don't live next to him or run into him in the supermarket) remains an enigma. His public appearances are not too frequent. However, as a result, all of them are likely to be treated with attention as Miroslavsky is quite a compelling and persuasive speaker. He keeps his image as a common worker at home, and a fairly passive-aggressive negotiator abroad.

Kinda like an anime character. What you call one might be different from what a Japanese might call one.

The Caliphate of Earth hardly, if ever, calls Amenria for help in resolving international conflicts. This is because Amenria's military is too advanced and its destructive capability is too high, which might cause too much collateral damage. As one commentator once said, "If the Caliphate lets the Asians instead of Middle-Easterners police the world, there might not be any world left to police." Amenrian interventionism is mostly used as last resort.

Interventionism? Reminds me of the US. Nonetheless, I wouldn't want your nation to act as the world police though...

Persagonia is involved in many conflicts throughout its years. Such as in:
- The Iran-Iraq War
- Iranian Kurdish Revolt
- Communist and Fascist insurgency in Persagonia
- Gulf War
- Afghan Civil War
- Invasion of Iraq (2003)
- War in Afghanistan
- Iraqi and Syrian Civil War
- and most recently in Yemen.
Despite all of this, the Persagonian economy managed to flourish and function as a sovereign entity and not as some kind of failed state.

Does Persagonia have a military-industrial-government complex?

Atlantean military equipment (save warships) are classified like so: Mod X Mk Y, where X is the last two digits of the year the equipment, and Y is the version of the equipment. For example, the Mod 95 Mk 4 'Arcus' MBT is the fourth iteration of the Mod 95 'Arcus' tank, which was built in 1995.

Warships, on the other hand are classified similarly to the US, and HAtMS, meaning, "Her Atlantean Majesty's Ship", is used as a prefix. The only difference is that it uses CR as the abbreviation for corvettes.

You don't have to have cruiser nomenclature if you don't have any puny cruisers!

In June of this year, the Imperial Navy laid down its largest ship ever. The SKMS Arminius is a battleship - the first of its kind in 50 years. It is 530 meters long, nuclear-powered with a lifetime of 30 years and a maximum speed of over 35 knots, protected by state-of the-art defense guns and rockets - negating the common current view that battleships are vulnerable. Part of its deck serves as a take-off and landing strip for carrier aircraft - though not as good as a carrier in terms of fielding planes, it's good enough for a decent fleet defense on its own, and it helps that the Arminius is 'married' to two small aircraft carriers anyway.

The most notable thing, however, is the sheer firepower of the vessel. Its railguns are the largest ever built, with state-of-the-art targeting systems and firing doctrines, putting out an effective range of over 180 miles and a terrifying launch velocity of 12,000 km/h. It also has a formidable amount of missile launch tubes, and could easily provide the possibility of a naval invasion by bombarding the life out of a decent piece of shore until nobody is alive to stop the German landing.

We have no idea what most of those technologies are, but we know that is an amazing ship.

After the Fall, London has earned the nickname the City of Screams. It comes form newcomers amazement at all the screams in London. The short surprised scream when someone is unlucky enough to meat of one Jack of Smiles's knifes. The short terror filled scream of someone who made a wrong turn on their commute and is about to be eaten. The loud sharp screams of those that awaken of the daily nightmares. Eventually they'll tune them out, listening to them only to find out where to not go. Of course this nickname isn't as known on the surface as the City of Riches or the City of Secrets.
The Unitied Kingdoms of Britannia in the Fallen London and Sunless Sea universe.
According to F7, our medics without guns are more terrifying than the dreadnoughts, drake mages, rage mummies that feel no pain, or the griffin snipers. Plague doctors get no love.
The Fallen in our name does not refer to the fall of the British Empire, it refers to London falling a mile down into the Earth into a world where people naturally come back to life, talking rats and cats, have Hell as neighbors, many deadly zee monsters, and more.

"I wouldn't visit there..."
- President Quark Hsuan-doong

The letter ဧ/q [ɦ] was only added to the alphabet recently, meaning that for over fifty years nobody realized that it was a separate sound, and hence books were written without it. Before this, words containing this sound were written with either ဟ/h [h] or အ/x [ʔ], and it was only recently that a linguist discovered that these three sounds were distinct and started to advocate the inclusion of the new letter.

I don’t think I want to know why.

The Blitzkrieg-Class of Exodian light naval destroyers are the only ones in the world we know of to have a 31-inch main gun. It was built for the purpose of shattering blockades that had anti-missile defenses, with a muzzle velocity so high that most modern CIWS or laser-interception systems can’t take its fired shells out on time.

The Khalsa Raj, otherwise known as Khalistan, is perhaps the most powerful force in and around the Indian subcontinent. Sikhism is very widespread in India, so there’s a lot of people who support Khalistan in its neighbouring countries.
Khalistan also gets assistance from Versilia in maintaining the low levels of Muslims and the weak influence of imams, along with technological assistance.

we can applaud the suppression of religion, even if it's one versus another it's seen as a "enemy of my enemy" situation

when on parade and in dress situations, it is a military tradition to wear facepaint. a private will wear three horizontal red stripes, an NCO will wear two red, one blue, a full officer will wear two blue and one red, and a general will wear three gold.

(last 2 replies didn't make sense so...)
Personally, I'd be a little concerned about a governor too eager to jump into military action. But at least it helps your economy.

PM Yascho J. personally doesn’t have anything against capitalism. He would implement policies to move the economy towards a more capitalistic system in hopes of pulling Toraia out of its poverty. However, he is too afraid of causing political upset to do that. Abruptly changing the economy could cause a big upset, not necessarily because of resistance, but simply because of a sudden change in the system.

That’s a shame. A mixture of a powerful, benevolent state economy and small business is best, in my opinion.

When a survey was taken, it revealed the majority of Versilians would be okay with a mostly state-controlled economy, focused on practical needs and use of resources. However, most stated they’d only be okay with this if Versilia attained a near post-scarcity state.
