Unlike them, over 90% of American soldiers, 90% of Portugese soldiers, 63% of British soldiers, 50% of French soldiers, 44% of Dutch soldiers, 88% of Australian soldiers, 98% of Georgian soldiers and 99% of Israeli soldiers who were sent to Iraq, died.

Those are horrific attrition rates. Are you sure you're not gassing them? Positive? How radioactive is Iraq now? Answer honestly. /j

Despite the otherworldly abilities and apparent goodwill of the Lešovyk, most Tyvertsian natural scientists do not consider them equal to humanity in intelligence, as they have no observed civilization or language. Despite this, many common folk still call them the 'Forest Folk' or 'Wild men', due to their typically humanoid appearance. Some have also concurred these scientists and their conclusion, saying that the Lešovyk communicate without words, and that civilization is not an indicator of intelligence. These people are mostly disregarded as uninformed or even 'Lešovyk cultists'.

Less population is always a good thing

Despite our European origins, polygamy is somewhat accepted for the royal family, as a king is allowed to have official concubines, whose status is pubic and accepted, and the former king keeps one still and even considered the current queen to become one of his concubines at one time.

Yes, chemical weapons were used but very slightly and only on unhabitated terrains and only against these mentioned armies.

Have a nice day.

Just for the king? Not so much for the common folk?

Caleshan do not give any kind of favorable government treatment to married couples, focusing resources instead on ensuring that all children are brought up under optimal conditions. As a result, marital concerns are held on a much more casual level, and polyamory is relatively common. Generally such arrangements are seen in small micro-tribes of five to ten adults who have chosen to pool their resources. Such arrangements are particularly common in agricultural circles due to an interest in dividing labor. Though largely formed for economic reasons, such groupings comport themselves as a family and are known to demonstrate affection just as strongly as more ‘traditional’ arrangements.

Curiously, despite the commonality of such arrangements, they are not at all represented among the tribal Calas. This may be owed more towards a trend for polyamorous groupings to be more insular on a functional level than their traditional counterparts, which tends to preclude the more outgoing nature that leads to one’s rise as a contender for succession.
Godulan Puppet #2, RPing as technologically advanced tribal society founded by mongols and vikings (and later with multiple other Asian and Native American cultures) motivated by an intrinsic devotion to the spirit of competition. They'll walk softly, talk softly, and make soothing noises as they stab you in the back and take your stuff... unless you're another Caleshan, whereupon they'll only stab you in the back figuratively!

Used NS stats: Population. That’s it. Anything else not stated in the factbooks is not used.

Intro RP: Gravity Ships and Garden Snips (involved tribes: Plainsrider, Hawkeye, Wavecrasher)
Current RP: A Rock Out of Place (involved tribes: Night Wolf, Deep Kraken, Starwalker)

Hmm....but you'd think part of ensuring the optimal environment for children would include ensuring stable parents within family units, no? I don't think polyamory is well suited for that.

Ancient Hamenkin was originally a matriarchal society, and women actually held the predominant positions in the tribal society. It was only under Chinese influence that a shift to a patriarchal urban culture emerged and Hamenkin started emulating the "more civilized" customs of the mainland.

That's cool to know. I'm not really aware of any real life examples of generally-matriarchial tribal societies though, so I have nearly no frame of reference for this.

From a certain point of view, the majority of the Commonwealth Army could be seen as "Spess Marines" by the regular military definition. While the Defensive Branch of the Army has its own stationary units that garrison Commonwealth Worlds, the bulk of its military is part of its Offensive Branch in which soldiers are recruited for temporary missions to be deployed to foreign worlds and systems. As the Confederate Army lacks its own starships, the duty of carrying them falls upon the Navy, making every soldier who partakes in a Planetary Incursion Initiative (the initial entry into a hostile planet) by definition a "space naval infantry". With that in mind, "Marines" are a subgroup in the Commonwealth Navy and very much dislike it when you point this out to them.

This is quite interesting, as it clearly poses a functional dichotomy between the Gemeanwealth and the Sternenstaat's conduct of espatiers (a synonym for space marine, essentially). While you state that pointing them out as marines causes ire in the space naval infantry of the Gemeanwealth, the Sternenstaat specifically emphasizes the glory behind the term of Weltraummarinesoldaten, or literally "Space Soldier". The Staat's space marines are used in a similar fashion of insertions, but are not recruited temporarily and instead serve in years-long deployments through either conscription or volunteering.
Despite what the international community paints the Sternenstaat as, it is not a bad place to live in -- if you are a human, anyway. The only real restrictions and obligations that humans have living in the Human Star State is that of enforced military participation in some capacity within one's lifetime, and the requirement of staying away from the minority identifications such as the LGBTQ+ movement and espousing progressive ideology - all of this being violatory to the political programme of the Vaterlandspartei.

I mean, still not exactly a pleasant place to live. Kinda the whole thing with social and political persecution. based and authpilled

The National Workers’ Party(the ruling party of the nation), while being heavily narrowed around one main ideology due to constant purges and orwellian indoctrination, does have ideological factions. On one camp, there is the self proclaimed ‘Peoples National Vanguard’, which believes in totalitarian control of all aspects of life and constant politicides to protect the nation from the worldwide imperialist menace. On the other camp, there is the ‘Order of the Black Sun’, which believes in totalitarian control of all aspects of life and constant genocides to protect the nation from worldwide degeneracy. They are more or less the ‘left’ and ‘right’ factions in the off-compass wacky Overton window.

Official Factbook

The year is 2150, and everywhere from the Rhine to Siberia is under the control of a hellishly totalitarian regime adhering to a bizarre synthetis of esoteric nazism, militaristic ultranationalism and national bolshevism.

Its a very wholesome 100 utopia! There’s perpetual war on all sides, everyone is being worked to death 18 hours a day, nightmarish industrialization makes even breathing hell, every aspect of life is regimented to the point that the nation resembles a machine, and simply being suspected of thinking against the party will get you shot. And don’t forget genocide. Lots of genocide.

"So on one hand we have the people who want to put everyone under a microscope to defend the people from the dangers of Imperial Oppression! and on the other hand we have the people that just want to go off on murderous rampages to protect people from "degeneracy".

Sometimes with all these wacko control states has anyone ever thought to point out that if we can't distinguish their policies away from the people they proclaim they wish to protect their people from, what exactly is the point of resisting their influence? A life lived in constant fear of death and censor is not worth living."

"Now then continuing on the tangent of salvaging old World War III Warships.

Earlier Greater Victoria proposed that WW3 Warships are packing firepower that the UN doesn't want running around anymore or endangering their monopoly on force and maybe other esoteric effects and this is true but is only part of the reason, and another thing Victoria is that the UN does not actually salvage Warships or Capital Ships, they don't need to, they have sole access to Warship and Capital Class Factory and support industries (even if said factories aren't performing at their best) and are in no hurry to release the information necessary for other nations to produce their own factories.

The primary reason for the avoidance of salvaging Warships and Capital Class Ships for reuse has to do with the AI's that still man the vessels. Now to be clear most Warships and Capital Class Ship AI cores are generally dead as fuck and even if they weren't immediately before being disabled during combat, they most likely wouldn't be able to keep themselves going considering how horribly injured they might be. Some of them however, hit the jackpot and while rendered incapable of doing little else but float, were still cognizant enough to remain aware of their surroundings.

For these AI's as has been researched by independent scientists. The War isn't over, to them, the disbandment of the ASUP (Asia Solar United Pact) and the fact that the UN is but a shell of its former self isn't clause for a cease in hostilities, to quote;

"There is still me."

-More to come on this tangent next time!
"Rumors of CFC affiliates building superweapons in orbit over Earth is fake news. Watch groups have corroborated this even though it would be to quote the BoD "totally rad."

#00: "The first step to acquiring real power, is to learn how to steal it from someone else, the second step is learning how to keep it the third step is to restart from the first step."
"Good and Evil are Two Tall Trees sitting upon a hill, the Tree of Good is Strong and Tall and does not bend, the Tree of Evil is Short and Flimsy when the wind blows Good resists, and breaks and falls on the floor and dies and Evil? well, it bends and it lives."
