Raj Jindal walks in. He sees that he has been selected to be President of the Senate. He walks to the chair, holding a replica of his trusty Mjolnir that a friend once gave to him. He gavels in.

"Order! Order!

The Senate shall come to order. As such, I wish to congratulate the newly elected Madam President, Priscilla Krishnan. I look forward to see what your cabinet brings to Fernão. Before the inaguaration of our newly elected President, I will allow senators to congratulate the President for the next two hours."

Raj bangs Mjolnir as it echoes throughout the chamber.

Senator Smith of FD-3 stood up with rage in his eyes.

I would like a very good explanation on how Raj has been selected to be President of the Senate, there has been no elections and the Administrator that made the final decision is from the CU themselves.

*admin hat on*

Zurkerx is now acting in an IC capacity as President of the Senate, not in his capacity as an admin. The previous President, Freyhill, is not an admin.

Nominees need five seconds to advance to a vote. Raj was the only candidate who had five seconds.

Further discussion should be taken to the lobby.

Mr. Smith not to be deterred shouted.
I call for the President of the Senate to step down and to re-open the nomination process and I hope if the President has the courage to win his position in a fair election than I hope he will step down and contest his seat.

"Mister President, I have a few concerns with this act as written. Starting with the first concern, there is no mention of theft, assault, murder and a number of other crimes against person or property in the jurisdiction of the Federal Police. These are among the most direct and clear forms of criminal acts and should be included within the provisions of this act.

"Second, while I would not want our people to fear a police force that may be too quick too apply lethal force, I am concerned that the framework for deadly force laid out in this act may be too narrow. The wording could easily leave us in scenario where an armed perpetrator is [i]threatening[/u] to cause harm but has not yet discharged a firearm or otherwise caused harm with their weapon and the court finding that under such circumstances a law enforcement officer will be unable to discharge their firearm in that circumstance.

"My third point of concern is in the process of selecting a Commissioner or a Commander. The process calls out senior administrators but these remain rather poorly defined. It would be greatly appreciated if the author could clarify these points."

A janitor is cleaning the peanut gallery. He suddenly trips, causing a copy of the Constitution to fall off the balcony. It lands in front of the two aides, open to the page in which the President of Fernão and the President of the Senate are separately defined.
