It's not the Admin team's fault alone. Fernão is dead and can't sustain any activity; look at the sheer inactivity of all parties and the fact that the RGA's thread was pruned. It's times like these that the Senate needs a period of contemplation and rebirth via a new incarnation in some time. I move to formally end the incarnation and begin a hiatus.

I mean I just joined and you are probably the better authority on this. I think it isn't the fault of the admins, or the players, or the system: it's just that we cannot rekindle the fire of Calvarde and Aurentina. This is because new players, ideas, and themes are shadowed by the same-old.
I have read into both Calvarde and Aurentina. While I was not there, I have noticed something about both that did not exist in previous incarnations: both had a large, active, and diverse player base. This has not been true for Fernao, Elizia, or Dagmar. I would say that 90% of the roleplay that gets done in all of these incarnations is done by the same 25 people. I would reckon that 90% of the active players were present in a previous incarnation, if not more. The same people mean the same ideas, same bills, and the same system. Many of the players from Aurentina and Calvarde who spiced up the incarnations are now gone. The Senate has a recruiting problem.
No matter how you try to make the incarnations different and more exciting than the rest, it doesn't really matter because the same people are showing up with the same bills, the same political parties, and the same drama.
I think a hiatus would be nice. I also think a complete reboot of the system would also be nice. I say that we abandon everything about the current system as start up as if Aurentina, Calvarde, Dagmar, Elizia, and Fernao never existed. No precedent, not even the most ancient one, should remain. Everything should be geared to recruiting new people and diversifying the Senate.
