it's chill to chill but what would be even chiller would be to stop spinning blatant lies for personal gain and acting like it's no big deal

You have thick skin? Tell that to Kam's nephew.

Kam's an ass. Everyone know's that Kam's an ass. Everyone knows that he gets his kicks from trolling people, and if you happen to be from a particularly vulnerable community like transgenders, so much the better. He deserved to get smacked around. His nephew did not. That's why you were banned from the IRC. Because you crossed the line in a hugely unacceptable way.

That happened a year ago. Don't bring it up, it has nothing to do with the current argument. We know NWO is at fault, but your insistence to constantly bring this up makes you look bad. Maybe, you want to argue about what is a whip and what isn't, but there's no need to bring up something that happened a year ago.

Fernão was an excellent location, but I suspect a combination of OOC animosity (similar to Dagmar's) and activity loss have ended this incarnation. For reference, Fernão lasted about a half month shorter than Elizia.

My suggestion is twofold: first, we need to reconsider how the Senate works. The Admin team should be redone (possibly with half selected by the current admins and half elected by the roleplay), the Daily Life thread should be retired and roleplays possibly shifted to P2TM, and we should develop an incarnation with political roleplaying opportunities beyond the Senate accessible to everyone.

Secondly, we need to advertise on a large scale. Telegramming the entire website is impractical, but buying adspace on the forums isn't. We should remove the one-week entry barrier and recruit newly founded nations, and we should advertise offsite. Furthermore, we should make an effort to appeal to NSG again, because that's where the bulk of the Senate's original activity came from.

And also no more majority leaders that was a disaster sorry lykens

I would like to see us return to the Mediterranean, although try a romance nation instead of germanic like Aurentina. My particular idea is in between Greece and Italy, with a romance language heavily influenced by the former.

I wouldn't say completely get rid of Daily life but I think the rp would have benefited from more admin controlled events like a oil pipeline bursting or a endangered animal being discovered on a future development site and the government having to decided a policy on it. A lot of modern policy draws from current events happening in a country so something like a rise in murder rates across the country or the events above I think would have benefitted the RP.

If Fernão has actually passed into the void, I'd also like to say that we need to fully retire the presidential system for good. It doesn't work for roleplay, and it doesn't work for the Senate. As well, that majority/minority leader nonsense was genuinely awful.

We had one inactive president and one who got into office planning to destroy the system. I don't think it's fair to say that it didn't work.

Obviously activity has dipped. Not going to deny that. There are a few things that are important to note:

1. The 10 day election period opens in 4 day's time. This spurs activity. And if people don't bother to show up for presidential elections, then yeah, maybe we can make a final decision. But let's hold off.
2. The constitutional convention is still a thing, so there's possibility for changing the letter of the law.
3. There will be an admin event tomorrow. This was actually planned several days ago, so it happens to be good timing. Hopefully you like it.

Some of this I agree with, some of this I don't. I think it's worthwhile to address that.

Agreement
1. OOC squabbles cause people to not want to do shit. This has been true in the past, and I know that people were not getting along in public or private in this edition. If you're fighting (genuinely, not political jabs), then you're not having fun, and if you're not having fun, you have no incentive to put time into the RP.
2. (along with others) The majority-minority leader system was an interesting experiment. I don't think it worked either. Progress was too centered on the activity of a few members.
3. Recruit on NSG, in theory at least. In practice, people aren't very kind about RP recruitment there, as far as I've seen. Tricky business.

Questions
1. I'm curious why you advocate a rehauling of the admin team. Is it inactivity? Incompetence? Something else?
2. Do you think that recruiting new nations will improve the quality of the RP, not just the number of players?

Other Points
1. The NSG Senate has been forbade from leaving F7 by NS Moderation. The exception to this is if we create some entirely new political RP that's more in line with P2TM standards (i.e. more involved and less spammy than what we have now), then we can put that in P2TM. So it's an option, but it's not so simple as just moving threads.
2. Re: ads. Yeah, sounds great in theory. Do you want to spend your money for adspace? I don't.

Disagreement
1. Retiring Daily Life. Reshaping it, maybe, but as long as we have people doing random roleplaying, that's the home for it.
