I'm not sure where I gave any indication that this was a "ruling". I'm just giving two players advice to calm down. Still, as I said before, it's pretty clear this was a communication error between you and Beta. I'm not sure why we think Lykens is to blame for simply calling for the vote. Just put it behind you.

Why are we not doing constituency elections anymore? And are we retiring gubernatorial and mayoral races too?

Full disclosure in a public setting:

All Lukania is a puppet account of mine. Some weeks after I resigned from the senate on this account (this post), I was starting to get on top of the workload I was under and wanted to try getting back into the senate, but was scared to fully commit myself and disappoint people, so I did it under an alias and created a new cross-bench party to play with while I tested how active I could actually commit to being in the senate. Never did I intend to break any rules, and I never acted as more than one senator, but it's been made clear to me that this may be a foggier area than I realized, so rather than try to solve this cloak and dagger, I'm just making clear the situation.

EDIT: Assuming I didn't accidentally break the rules, to clarify, my intention is to retire the "All Lukania" account before doing anything with this account.

As long as you didn't vote twice with two different accounts or significantly impact something IC with two different accounts, there's nothing wrong with that.

We've been informed and confirmed that the RGA issued a two-line whip on the non-partisan Constitutional Assembly election. We disapprove of this in the strongest of terms, but at this point suggest any parties having not done so issue their own whips, as the non-partisan element has already been defeated.

It might be worth noting that a whip on an RP election is unenforceable, since it's not actually the senators voting ICly.

EDIT: Precedent - attempt to punish Nihil for a presidential vote in Aurentina

This is not true. A telegram was sent out to our members which highlighted our own members participating, however no whip was issued.

Actually, looking back and seeing that the post says that she confirmed the issuing of a whip, this wasn't just mistaken, this is a pretty bald-faced lie.

Members were messaged and said it was "strongly suggested." The RGA Constitution defines a two-line whip as a strong suggestion. Period.

For the approval of the Department of Election, the actual text of the TG:
There is a vote for the constitutional assembly. Your are all strongly encouraged to vote to ensure that the recommendation of the assembly represents our values.

Please rank Tectonix House of Judah and Socialist Nordia as your top three choices.

It's worth noting that all that happens was that members were strongly encouraged to vote. That was the only thing even approaching that sort of language. It highlighted our members in no small part because the other options included people who want to remove protections for religious freedom, who want to make the central government completely unable to operate and one who wished to re-institute the death penalty.

So, once again, no whip, nothing out of bounds, and yet you lied about it.

Begging the pardons of the chillers, but I'm not the one who's spouting lies and now is attempting to leverage the constituency claiming thread and an election thread to silence someone.

You've said yourself that it's unofficial and not admin sanctioned. If you don't like it, don't use it. Very simple.

I'm sorry, but what logic do you want me to apply? You already said you "confirmed" something that wasn't true, which means you were lying. I called you out for it and you decided that the best way to deal with that was to try to shut me out of staple things for the RP. So what logic do you want me to apply? That you'll deign to let me back if I only would stop pointing out the immoral or even evil acts that you have performed?

And this is my main issue with you. You did something objectively evil, targeted a child, and you have never owned that fact. You've never shown any remorse for it. You've behaved as though what you did was perfectly acceptable.

You have thick skin? Tell that to Kam's nephew.

Kam's an ass. Everyone know's that Kam's an ass. Everyone knows that he gets his kicks from trolling people, and if you happen to be from a particularly vulnerable community like transgenders, so much the better. He deserved to get smacked around. His nephew did not. That's why you were banned from the IRC. Because you crossed the line in a hugely unacceptable way.
