Senator Thinh takes his seat, looks around approvingly, shuffles his labour law reforms, and uses a piece of notepaper on his desk to create an intricate paper airplane which he gently pushes off in the direction of the former Parliament. It flies, a thing of beauty and grace.

Tectonix wrote:"Point of parliamentary inquiry Mr. Speaker - what constitutional justification is there for the formation of the assembly?"
"A Transitional Council with 30 members shall be formed by a decree from the Revolutionary Committee. It shall replace the dissolved Senate and it shall include the components that were not represented in the latter body. Members of the dissolved Senate shall have the right to join it."
There is no stipulation that the constitution must be ratified.

I hereby tender my resignation from the Elizian United Front and declare the foundation of the Communist Party of the Elizian Union. Furthermore, I denounce this illegal government and call for the installation of the Union of Elizian Soviets effective immediately, under the rightful Premier, me, and the General-Secretary of the Communist Party, SovCan.

Tjilik Beluluk enters, now inexplicably clothed and inexplicably from Kentang Prison, thinking about the transition from bourgeois democracy to the people's democratic dictatorship and new democracy. As Chair of the Transition Council, it was his supreme duty to eject the dirty and disgusting capitalists from the People's Republic, and to assist in the economic transformation, away from the evils of capitalism.

"Comrade! This People's Republic is motivated by nothing other than the highest revolutionary and communistic ideals! Your opinions about the transition away from capitalism and towards socialism are highly-needed, but that is the duty of this legislature and the Transitional Council!"
Meanwhile, a certain Jean-Luc Martin enters and begins stabbing Suleiman, muttering something about how Ubouhu/Adrius will always be Garifuna, not Dutch. He also yells at Tijah bin Dian, [Beta Test], Kevin Katdare and others, saying something about the Science Ministry, how he will not be silenced and something about the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. He also demands to know where David Vera Cruz is, muttering something about the State Socialist Council and again about the Science Ministry and how he will not be silenced.

Kevin Katdare is visibly offended by such an offense. He stands and walks to the center of the chamber with a microphone. The senator beings to sing a song to the tune of "Alexander Hamilton" from the hit Broadway musical Hamilton.
How does a liberal, orphan, grandson of a commodore
And an Indian, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in the Indian by providence uncherished,
By his father, grow up to be a leader and a scholar?
The complete-baller founding father with his father
Got a lot farther by working a lot harder
By being a lot smarter
By being a self-starter
By fourteen, they placed him in charge of a trading charter
And every day while Elizians were being slaughtered and carted away
Across the waves, he prospered and kept his chin up
Inside, he was longing for something to be a part of
The brother was ready to beg, steal, borrow, or barter
Then the government came, and devastation reigned
Our man saw his future drip, dripping down the drain
Put a pencil to his temple, connected it to his brain
And he wrote his first refrain, a testament to his pain
Well, the word got around, they said, this kid is insane, man
Took up a collection just to send him to the motherland
Get your education, don't forget from whence you came
And the world is gonna know your name
What's your name, man?
Kevin Katdare
My name is Kevin Katdare
And there's a million things I haven't done
But just you wait, just you wait
When he was ten his father kicked the bucket, debt-ridden
Years earlier, see Kevin and his mother bed-ridden
Half-dead sittin' in their own sick, the scent thick
And Kevin got better but his mother went quick
They came for his brother, the brother met his demise
Left him with nothin' but ruined pride, something new inside
A voice saying
Kevin, you gotta fend for yourself
He started retreatin' and readin' every treatise on the shelf
There would have been nothin' left to do for someone less astute
He woulda been dead or destitute without a cent of restitution
Started workin', clerkin' until he became chairman of the board
Tradin' palm oil and curry and everything he can afford
Scammin' for every book he can get his hands on
Plannin' for the future see him now as he sits in the cabin of a plane headed for his old land
In Kentang you can be a new man
In Kentang you can be a new man
In Kentang you can be a new man
In Kentang you can be a new man
In Kentang you can be a new man
Just you wait
Kevin Katdare
We are waiting in the wings for you
You could never back down
You never learned to take your time
Oh, Kevin Katdare
When Elizia sings for you
Will they know what you overcame?
Will they know you rewrote the game?
The world will never be the same, oh
The plane has landed now
See if you can spot him
Another expatriate comin' up from the bottom
His enemies destroyed his rep
Elizia forgot him
Ha Ram Be and National Coalition members:
We fought with himKatdare family:
Me, I died for himLiberal Coalition members:
Me, I trusted himDivya Katdare (Wife):
Me, I loved himTjilik Beluluk:
And me, I'm the damn fool that shot him
There's a million things I haven't done
But just you wait
What's your name, man?

Mr. Speaker, in times like these it's important to preserve national unity. With threats coming from every quarter, the people of this nation cannot afford to slacken their vigilance for a single instant lest our fragile democracy be destroyed by the short-sighted, the narrow-minded, and the reactionary. We have been provoked by these false heirs to the national democratic forces and their decades of work, discipline, and single-minded conviction. We cannot afford to flinch now. Defend the Revolutionary Constitution, Comrades, and end this charade! Long live the People's Republic!
That being said, Mr. Speaker, there are always questions that need putting. While we are in the midst of a great revolutionary chaos at the moment and have lots of specific issues, it is always good to have the general ability to put forth questions. As my honourable comrade colleague has said, it is important that the general question be generally put so that we may generally inquire and figure out what general specifics we need to generally examine by specifically putting the specific question that at present is, generally, being questioned in a general sense and put in a general way. I second his motion.
