I mean, it kind of does if people were just leaving because of the NIP.

That wasn't the only reason. Personally, I wasn't comfortable being part of a coalition with social conservatives, which is why I voted to leave the coalition. Sure, the NIP were a part of it, but they weren't the only reason.

What do you define as social conservatism, though? All of the things Maklohi Vai cited as social liberalism we agree with.

You may, yes. The PtH's social platform (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=381743) is very similar to ours, no doubt, except for the religious tones (some of which, ICly, would make my Jewish senator uncomfortable, but that's another matter). It's the closest to Labour's, as Elizia First is very straightforwardly socially conservative: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=381858. The CIP doesn't really have a social policy, so I'll refrain from commenting on that.

First draft of a map of Elizia. Ignore all the Baltimores, they're placeholders.

I propose to keep at least one, in the form of Bal Timor.

Thank you. I needed a map. :)

I think you should include one of those distance things included on most maps.

Excellent. Is anyone up for creating a constituency thread?

Is it sad that the debate over the Time Zone Bill is still more exciting than Dagmar?

What's up with the IRC chat? It says that I "need to be identified with services".

That sounds like it's on +i, meaning that you have to be registered to join. Let me go check it out, but because I'm not an OP I doubt I'll be able to fix it.

EDIT: After checking it out, +i is invite only. There doesn't appear to even be a flag established for only letting registered users on the channel. I can't check the flags of the channel, as I'm not OP'd. Conclusion: I don't bloody know. In the meantime, try #NSGSenate (no underscore).

That's +r, getting rid of it would be an OP setting the channel to /mode #nsg_senate -r
