"And no, we've been trying for the last thirty years to try and get contact with extra-terrestrials, and we haven't received anything." He leaned in close, and brought his voice to a whisper. "But... I'll tell you this much. A certain message is transmitted every twenty-four hours at one of the stations. It's broadcasted in such a way that it can be intercepted by pretty much any other system. Including, possibly, yours. You'll know it's my planet's, because it says, in both English and Swedish, 'To any and all life out there, we are humans from the planet Earth. We wish to make contact, so that we may gain the understanding that there is more life out there. Please, if you receive this message, respond'." He leaned away, smiling. "Don't ask me how I know that. Technically, it was illegal for me to intercept that frequency, but now I think it will be for the greater good. I ask you... If you can, ask your people, back at their home planet, or star base, or whatever, ask them to try and look for the message, or see if they've received something like it, and... Get them to go to my planet. Or at least contact it. Your people are obviously advanced, right? They... I'm sure they'll be able to help my country... Well, my world, for the better, and hey, maybe my world will be able to help yours, too."
Omad listened in carefully, fully intrigued. "I assure you. If my people ever were to receive such a message, we'd surely respond promptly. Though, I'm not entirely sure how much an Earth-like world might be able to help the Holy Empire. I mean, we're quite literally a few thousand years more advanced than this one. Not bragging, of course!" He chuckled. "Though, that's not to say we could never learn from your home. Wherever it is."
Simon grinned. He patted Omad on the shoulder in a friendly manner. "That's good to hear... Omad. Very good." He took a sip of his water, and brushed some dust off of his hoodie.
Dom sat at the bar, his hand wrapped around a bottle of vodka. He looked towards the door as it opened, and his eyes widened. Speak of the devil, he thought. There she was. Ira. He slowly looked away, shaking his head. I don't think Ava will be happy...
