Omad looked at the very large, clunky phone that was held up to his ear. He couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, oh heavens no! Phone lines? I believe the human race is just a bit more advanced than that. I mean, I suppose some humans still use them, but I believe most of humanity now has gone wireless. Or something. I just know that phone lines aren't popular anymore."
"Well, actually," Torr says, dumping the vegetables into a rather large pot and moving it elsewhere, "I'm already done, so I'll just tag along with you." He leaves... whatever he's made... behind, and begins to head out the kitchen.
"Oh!" replied Ira, appearing rather pleased. She began to follow him out of the kitchen. "Hmm.. I wonder, if all the people who used to frequent the Wallaby are still there. I'd love to see some of them again," said Ira.

"No phone lines? Wireless? How amazing!" He set down the phone, a shocked expression on his face. "Well, maybe this place isn't so bad as I initially thought. Perhaps they're even more advanced than MY universe!" He stroked his chin slowly, thinking. "...Although, I doubt they have gauss freighters. And I bet there's no chance that they have anything like The Loop!"
Omad frowned. "I'm sorry, the what? ... What is The Loop? I don't think I've heard of anything like that on this planet."
