"Matriarch Jongei can do as she wishes. I want my armor, and I want Mantle's Judgement back so I can go home and attend to Liara and the others."

Dom glared at her. "Alright, alright, shut up, will you? We get it, you're magical and shit! Christ... I'll drink the stupid fucking coffee if it'll make you keep your mouth shut!"

"I usually glare at them until they go away. Like the purple-furred child. He knows not to irritate me." Saren slinks away from the bar after considering taking a look.
"Heheh. I think you'll be the one shutting your mouth soon enough..." Lightning strikes yet again, and she begins emptying the cup into a mug.

Barboneia wrote:"Ah, intimidation. Works wonders. Were it not for intimidation, Carolus Rex would not have gained so much support, Gustav III would not have been able to succeed in his coup d'état, and Gustaf VI would not have gotten the Soviets to leave our great country alone."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" He took the cup from her and looked into it, before taking a long sip of the coffee. His expression softened. "Hey... That's... Actually pretty good!"

"I don't know who any of those people are. I did not take Swedish history in my university years."
Vess gives him a lopsided grin... indeed, it takes pretty good. Almost like vanilla mixed with chocolate. "What'd I tell you? There's a little secret at the bottom of the mug, too. I always leave messages on 'em."
Very, very slowly, Dom somehow manages to get shorter.

Barboneia wrote:"Ah. Well, they were all kings. Mostly good ones. Rex was a bit incompetent... But I still like him."
Dom doesn't seem to notice himself becoming shorter, and drank more of the coffee, quickly emptying it. He smiled up at Vess. "That was amazing! Can I have more?" He remembers her mentioning a message in the cup, and he looks down into the mug, squinting.

"Interesting."
Vess snerks and starts prepping another cup. "Sure. What'd I tell you? Black magic coffee is the best."
The message at the bottom of the mug is "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHA" in very tiny print, with a large 'look at the fine print' right in the middle. If Dom's to look at the menu.... Underneath Culdranth Cappacino is written 'Side effects may include spontaneous changes into a Culdranth. Vess Coffee Incorporated is not responsible for any damages caused by these changes.'
Vess grins maniacally as a pair of rabbit ears props up atop Dom's head, and his face is covered in grey, fluffy fur.

Barboneia wrote:"Indeed."
Dom's eyes widened as he read the fine print, and he stared up at Vess in horror. "Why would you do this?!" He said in a newly obtained French accent. He quickly covered his mouth, trying to prevent himself from screaming. "Oh my god! You turned me into a rabbit! Now I can't go to Moscow now, they'll think I'm an imposter!" Dom covered his face with his hands, groaning. "Oh... Why would you do this...?"

He slowly looks over to the scene with Dom, looking utterly unimpressed. "... I didn't know we had rodent wizards."
Vess leans down very slowly and smiles delightfully. "Because you got on my bad side~ But I'll tell you what... I accept bribes. Either you give me two thousand dollars up front... or advertise for me. Shamelessly. Then I'll give you a sort of... counter-coffee."

"Fuck that! And fuck you! I won't do shit for you! I'll find a way out of this myself! Goddamnit, why did I have to get Ava to leave me right before something like this happened? And why does this always happen to me?!" He groaned once more, clambering onto a nearby chair. He looked uncomfortable as he sat on it. "Oh... This is a lot higher than I thought..."

"... I would read the fine print on her coffee before you drink it, then."
Vess snickers evilly. Sherril glances over at Dom, hearing his complaints. "Oh, yes, poor you. You become a Culdranth once and all of a sudden you're the universe's chewtoy. How do you think it feels to be genderswapped on a yearly basis?"
