Celeste waves hello at the two. "Did you two want in on the drinks today or should we save it for another night?"

"I'm decent! Tsengsi's off bowing to the emperor or something, so I get some time without him looking over my shoulder. Why, I might even be able to talk to a male without being chastised!" She says, waving her arms around jokingly, before heading over to their table and finding herself a seat. "Ey! Aelwyd!"
The sharp-toothed Culdranth quickly ran over with a piece of paper and a block of wood. "Melanth lager for me, whatever zhese fine folk want for themselves."

"Interesting..." He folded his arms as he waited for their server to arrive with their drinks. "The service here is awful. Back in London, our waiters were quick and attentive! Except for the Irish... Ech."

"Uh... I've never actually had an alcoholic beverage before. I think I'll take cider, then. Oh, non-alcoholic, of course," said Gwen, before picking up her book again to read. On the cover was the title Shake-Speares Sonnets in a bold font. Arthur cleared his throat. "I'd prefer some good rum, of course!" he said.

She finishes eating her jerky and glares at him intently. "First you insult a waitress on her first day of the job, and then you make fun of the Irish! No wonder everybody hates the Brits. Pen cachu." Aelwyd huffs and walks off.

Aurelian simply shrugs his shoulders. "Now you'll have to go through some elaborate tribal ritual to get her to bring you drinks, I imagine. The pattern on her outfit suggests the Surlet family... likely involves either money or orgies."

"If the bartender..."
Carmel briefly inserts herself into the conversation, having just started her break. "If he alLAOS it." Somewhere, off in the distance, ba-dum-tish. She promptly walks off.

He stared at her as she walked off, and he seemed to physically cringe. He glanced at Aurelian warily. "Good God. I don't know how her brother can listen to her jokes all the time, I'd get brain damage." He looked back at her walking off. "She's pretty cute, though, isn't she?'

Aelwyd scribbles down 'cider for lightweight' and then 'rum'. "Aight. "I'll be right back." She skitters off to the bar, and Lao starts pouring some drinks.
Celeste briefly looked over to see the cover of her book, smiling slightly. "Ah, I love Shakey-spear! My s-... brother, even. English is still new to me... anyways! Tsengsi and I spent a few years in England just to see his plays! Great works of art, they are."

"Her brother's the cheeky lad with the spiky helmet and moustache, right? I think he's already got brain damage." He briefly looks at her as she walks away, though promptly recoils with terror in his eyes, looking like he just about had a heart attack. "GOOD GOD THOSE FANGS."

Gwen smiled. "Oh yes, his works are monumental!" she exclaimed. "I've read many of his plays and sonnets, but I must say that Hamlet is among my favorites."

He breathes heavily and attempts to recover. "You didn't just see her head turn all the way around and snap at me?" He looks at his hands for a moment and rubs his face. "I think I'm losing my mind. Oh well... she's, passable, I suppose." He briefly pokes his head out of the booth and speaks to Desmond quietly. "I prefer ones that aren't flat as twigs, personally... If I didn't grow up with her I'd be all over Celeste."

"I really enjoyed Twelth Night, myself. I'm a bigger fan of comedies than tragedies, mostly because I deal with a lot of the latter." She clears her throat. "Hamlet was the one with the Danes in it, right?"
Aelwyd skitters over with a tray of drinks, placing them on the table. Celeste gives her some sort of elaborate hand gesture, and takes a swig of her lager.

Yes, that was the one with the Danes and such," she said in between sips of the cider. "I do love reading. But, I think, old spell tomes and alchemy articles are the most interesting to peruse through."

Carmel briefly appears in the booth, snickering. "I wonder if you're aware of how many works of art you're referencing.." She promptly leaves as soon as she came with no clear idea of how she got there.
Aurelian shakes slightly. "I think she's got an absolutely terrifying personality, myself."
