There were just six of them left - Hakons, San Llera, The Jonathanian States, Applepieistan, Pot4toes, and Murovanka. After a long day of searching for scum, basking in the triumph of having caught two mafia red-handed, they all went to bed without appointing somebody to keep watch. This was a very poor decision indeed.

Apple woke up. She had to use the bathroom. Groggily climbing out of her bed, she began to walk over. Arriving at the bathroom, she closed and locked the door behind her.

"Hello," somebody said. It was pitch-black, but the glint of a knife was visible even in the darkness.

A scream.

Apple paused, confused. "Wait. I'm not dead?" She turned on the light. Somebody had stabbed Pot4toes, left him to die in the bathtub, and then made their escape out the window. She turned around, increasingly frightened. Who had done this?

"G-governor Forsworn?"

Forsworn stood in front of her, gasping and clearly exhausted. "Apple. You are the last hope of this town. I bear a message, sent to you. I think there's a threat on your life - you need to leave immediately - they've attacked the town hall-"

"GURKH-"

Somebody stabbed Apple in the back, turned, and ran.

And behind them, Forsworn collapsed, exhausted. He was dazed and confused, but he knew the town was doomed. He found a bottle of sleeping pills and took every last one.

"The mafia thought they killed me, I bet. They didn't. I'm the only one here who can survive a mafia attack. As such, I will be the governor."

There were no objections.

"Ahem. Order of business one - three of us are dead, as many of you know. Only the four of you remain. And if you can't lynch scum, then we're just screwed."

We didn't lynch anybody and the thief only should be getting their special actions beyond stealing the gun once one of the factions has been destroyed. The lone mafia can obviously murder one, but that's only one death explained.

Anyway, I'll be honest and say I have no good idea who is the other innocent (and therefore who is scum).

As for the thief kill... how? The thief can't steal the inventors gun, Hark being dead and confirmed Inventor, and hasn't unlocked their special powers, as we have one mafia and two innocents alive.

I assume no townies have any power roles left (Hakons? I don't anyways)? If mafia is lynched, that leaves 2x townie and a thief. Following night thief kills a townie, and thief wins. If thief is lynched, 2x townie and 1x mafia, mafia kills townie the following night and mafia wins. If a townie is lynched, leaves 1x mafia, 1x thief, 1x town, following night thief kills mafia and wins.

This means you have a special power, either you are the thief or you are the mafia.
If you were the mafia this would mean that the thief indeed performed a murder, but that doesn't explain the second death.
If you were the thief.... does anybody remember which of the mafia are dead? I vaguely remember one of them having been the Easter egg, and I'm think the other was the strongman, which means that the roleblocker indeed is the last one alive.

Anyway, none of these cases explain the second death. Llama, could you please inform us if this was a modkill?

I'd laugh if it weren't so sad. And, well, I know I am and am quite convinced of your innocence..... That aside, I believe we actually performed only a single lynch.
Of course, it was a wrong one, but we mostly just no-lynched our way to death.
