I cannot believe that someone is really proposing for Dagmar to be a part of the NATO... Sounds bad, doesnt it?

But that would mean we'd be siding with destruction of other nations governments, just because they are not democratic. This could possibly end up as national embarrassment of the whole Senate.

They only intervene when really necessary, like in Syria. And nowhere did I say that they are perfect, just that they have a better international reputation compared to states in the NATO.

Bullshit. Russia is an oppressive, authoritarian, imperialistic shitstate with no regards to it's neighbours or the international law.

What is wrong with being authoritarian? Authoritarianism is a positive thing.
Yeah, cause attacking terrorists or rebels is against international law.

Russia consistently ranks as the G8 country with the worst international approval rating, so this is patently false.

What?

No, the short summary of what happened in Ukraine is:
1. Ukraine's president uses force against peaceful protesters
2. Peaceful protests turn violent, a hundred people are shot by internal armed forces
3. President's party sides with the opposition to amend constitution and impeach president
4. Russia declares this a coup, invades and annexes territory from Ukraine, a sovereign state which has no political relation to Russia, in violation of the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, which openly declared that Russia would /guarantee/ Ukrainian sovereignty and national integrity in exchange for Ukraine handing its nuclear arsenal over to Russia.

Even if we accepted the bullshit premise that it was a coup, when actually it was a popular revolution overwhelmingly supported at the time of its success by the majority of Ukrainian legislators and the people, how the fuck does Russia have the right to meddle in the affairs of another state?

I discussed this in an earlier post. Actually two posts on page 7. I also encourage y'all to sponsor my alternative bill in the coffee house that is more in line with our platform.

Hey, I just posted my application to join the Centre Bloc on the NSG Senate applications thread.
So I went through your platform and I agree with you on every single point, you are really almost 100% the party of my choice. I only startled a bit when I read you support an unconditional basic income. For me, that seems very collectivist for a centrist party.

Another little thing is standardized testing for primary school. I understand that primary school probably was pretty long ago for most of you but just try to see things from a primary schooler's perpective. Can you imagine what an immense pressure standardized testing from a young age is? It can really ruin your childhood. Just give it a thought.

Apart from that, I'm proud to be part of the Centre Bloc now.
