In a land of mafioso, salmonella, a thief, a town, and a lunatic... there is
ONE STRANGE DEVICE TO RULE THEM ALL!
Welcome to our little village. From the outside, there's nothing special about it - only fifteen people even live in it. That's why it's being destroyed so the government can build a bypass through it. But inside, there's something more special.
An annoying alien once came to our village to hide a strange relic, the alien said that no-one would find it in what it called 'A backwoods redneck hellhole filled with salmonella and losers'. Needless to say we ran the alien out of town with shotguns mysteriously going off right in front of its face...
For some reason it died after that.
Also, rumor says that the owner of it possesses infinite power, so we have been hiding it. Dont want that alien's friends to come back for it.
But Mafioso scum are within the village now. We don't know who they are. They don't know about the artifact yet, but they want to kill our city leadership so they can destroy this town and build a neighbourhood Wal-Mart. And it gets worse - some loser (we don't know who) has discovered the relic. And they want their hands on it so they dont have to get a job. Freaking relic-stealing hippie...
But we aren't going down without a fight.

Mafia Roles (3)
ROLEBLOCKER
You are the ROLEBLOCKER! Once per night, you may select one person to roleblock, that person will be unable to use their night action that night. You may also submit a night kill with your fellow mafia at this QT link: <>. You win once all townies and the thief have been eliminated, or once nothing in-game could stop this from happening. Your partners are <>, the strongman, and <>, the easter egg.
STRONGMAN
You are the STRONGMAN! You have a one-use special ability, which is the ability to make sure the mafia's night kill goes through even if there is doctor protection. You may also submit a night kill with your fellow mafia at this QT link: <>. You win once all townies and the thief have been eliminated, or once nothing in-game could stop this from happening. Your partners are <>, the roleblocker, and <>, the easter egg.
EASTER EGG
You are the EASTER EGG! At the start of the game, you have no special night powers. However, if you become the only remaining mafioso, you will gain a special ability! However, the town will also learn about this ability. You may also submit a night kill with your fellow mafia at this QT link: <>. You win once all townies and the thief have been eliminated, or once nothing in-game could stop this from happening. Your partners are <>, the roleblocker, and <>, the strongman.
Town Roles (9*)
VANILLA TOWNIE
You are a vanilla townie! You have no special night actions. You win once all mafia and the thief are eliminated.
INVENTOR
You are the INVENTOR! Once per day, you may pick one of the three items to give out: {Gun, Bomb, Cloak}! At the beginning of the night, whoever you give the item to will be notified that they received that item. You must give out all three items before you can hand out the same item twice (so gun-bomb-gun is not okay, but gun-cloak-bomb-crystal-cloak-gun is) The item may only be used during that night.
A GUN will allow the person to pick one person to kill that night!
A BOMB will kill anyone that tries to kill that person that night!
A CRYSTAL will give that person a single-use cop scan!
A CLOAK will render the person invisible, and block all night actions on that person that night!
You win once all mafia and the thief are eliminated.
TRACKER
You are the TRACKER! Once per night, you may pick one person. You will be notified if that person visited anyone, and if so, who. You win once all mafia and the thief have been eliminated.
MAYOR
You are the MAYOR! This role is elected once every three days (Starting on day one). The mayor gets an extra daily Lynchvote. You retain any powers and alignments from your original role. Your win conditions do not change if you are elected mayor.
PARANOID DOCTOR
You are the DOCTOR! Once per night, you may pick someone to save. If anyone targets them, both you, the killer, and the target are notified that the kill failed. You win once all mafia and the thief have been eliminated. You also roleblock the player you save.
SLEEPER
The Sleeper begins the game as a vanilla townie and is unaware of their true role. If either of the first two lynches are part of the mafia, the sleeper will receive this role TG:
You have joined the mafia, where your true loyalties as a STALKER lie! Your mafia partners are <>, the <>, and <>, the <>. Each turn beginning with night four, you will be able to scan one person. You will be told the exact role of that player. You may also submit a night kill with your fellow mafia at this QT link: <>. You win once all townies and the thief have been eliminated, or once nothing in-game could stop this from happening.
If this does not happen, though, the sleeper receives this TG.
As no mafia roles were lynched in the first two days, you have discovered your true power as a DETECTIVE! Each turn beginning with night four, you will be able to scan one person. You will learn the exact role of that player. You win once all mafia and the thief have been eliminated.
THIRD PARTY (1)
THIEF
[/quote]You are the THIEF! Each day you will submit one person's name. If that person has a power, you will gain that power for the night. However, the person you stole from will not gain that power. If you try to steal from a vanilla townie, you will be notified that you did not gain a power. If you steal from any mafia member, you will only gain the ability to kill. If you steal from the inventor, you will only steal whatever he gives out that night. If you try to steal from whoever the inventor gave a gift to, you will not get anything (unless that person has another power). If the mafia or town have all been exterminated, you will be able to steal the Relic and gain the ability to use previously stolen abilities. You also have a one-shot bulletproof vest that will allow you to survive one nightkill! You win once everyone else is dead, or once nothing can prevent that from happening.

RULES
1. All players must play to win.
2. Day phases are 48 hours long. Night phases are 24 hours long.
3. Posting a brief message like "go town!" or "go scum!" immediately after your death is allowed. Posting a message like "I'M THE COP I SCANNED DEATHLLAMA HE IS GUILTY" is not allowed, nor is posting at all more than five minutes after your death.
4. Encryption that cannot be decoded without outside tools to decipher is forbidden. Saying things like "I Admit My Thoughts Have Erroneously Chronicled the OP" is okay, though.
5. Players may not communicate outside of the thread about mafia. Mafia may not communicate on the Mafia Chat, or outside of the thread in general, about mafia during the day. During the night, mafia may only communicate about mafia on the Mafia Chat, or publicly on the thread. Non-players may not post on this thread unless they're me or a mod.
6. All players are forbidden from cheating.
7. All players must post at least three times with some content (saying "THIS IS A POST" "SO IS THIS" "DONE FOR THE DAY" is not okay. If you're unsure about whether or not you've done enough, do more. If you're still unsure, good news - I will post an occasional update about who has contributed enough to avoid replacement. All players must also vote at least once per phase, although they may unvote and not vote again and still be counted as having voted.
MECHANICS
Voting is done like so: using two octothorpes, VOTE, and the person of the name you want to vote. For example, saying ##VOTE SUPER-LLAMALAND. You can say other things in the post, like ##VOTE SUPER-LLAMALAND FOR BEING AWESOME, but things like ##SUPER-LLAMALAND, #VOTE SUPER-LLAMALAND, or VOTE SUPER-LLAMALAND are not allowed. If you do not want a lynch, post ##VOTE NOLYNCH. Nicknames like ##VOTE LLAMA are allowed as long as I can tell who's being referred to.
The candidate with the most votes will be lynched. If no lynch has the most votes or there is a tie, nobody will be lynched.
In addition, if more than half of players alive vote ##END, the phase will automatically end. Players will not be penalized for not voting / participating if ##END is dropped.
Mayor voting occurs once every three days (Starting on night one), to vote for mayor, you put in ##MAYORVOTE NAME
