She looks around, making sure Crysal or Adri aren't around. "An estranged sister of the Iracuse family. The one they paint as a villain."

Ira frowned. She stared at her intensely, giving the Arkadacian woman her undivided attention.

Dom slipped inside quietly, and sat down at a booth. He took out his phone, looked around, and began to read something on it.

She looks around, making sure Crysal or Adri aren't around. "An estranged sister of the Iracuse family. The one they paint as a villain."

Ira frowned. She stared at her intensely, giving the Arkadacian woman her undivided attention.

"Well, you see... a very long time ago, there was once a happy little tribe living in a field not too far from here. Oh, they were ALL happy, except for one of them. The outcast! The freak! All fear the white-furred one with the weird eyes! All the attention was always on the littler ones. Ciry is the future of the tribe, bah!" Alutia scoffs and twitches just a bit. "That starts to grind you down after a few years. Combine that with experimentation with smoking various plants, you start to get a bit vengeful. So I sold out my tribe's location to a group of raiders... then some elven cunt with fierarms showed up and saved the two people I wanted the most dead!"

She takes a moment to breathe. "Oh, and then they forget about me for about a millenium, and then suddenly they find out I'm still alive, and what do they do? Go on a mass rampage through my nice little kingdom, and burn it to the ground! Out of at least a few hundred thousand, maybe ten thousand made it out alive! And she calls me the vicious bitch!"

Alutia sighs and thinks it over. "Probably a combination of my appearance... you don't see a lot of snow-furred Arkadacians roaming around, naturally. The eyes probably creeped people out as well. Doesn't justify having me live in an improvised shelter right outside the tribe though, does it? Oh, and yet they still relied on me for spiritual advice. The freaky-looking child obviously MUST be a shaman! Of course!"

"...Tragic, truly. However, you DID mention that you sold out your tribe and sent a band of raiders after them..." Ira sucked her teeth in slight disapproval. "In thought, that's a perfectly good reason for someone to hate you forever", Ira mumbled underneath her breath.

"Regardless. The deaths of around fifty compared to the deaths of hundreds of thousands? That's a bit disproportionate. ... Admittedly it was mostly everyone else who partook in the massacre, the Iracusians just sort of raided our bars and inns for wine and left."

'I would consider the Iracusian the equivalent of all human alcohol drinks in one species/race.'

(We're transitioning to the next thread about here or now. I know it's a bit of a cop-out not to have some big, grand reason as to why we're switching settings, but I'm honestly out of ideas for those at this point. Yer comin' up with those reasons on yer own!
