Ira laughed softly. "But I do understand, the weather is cold!"

"My comprehension of the English language is decreasing each day, I'm afraid. But yes, it's bloody terrible out. I wish this weather would move away to... I don't know, the United States or something. I hear the Americans are celebrating some special holiday next week, I'm sure that would damper their spirits!" He laughed, folding his arms.

"Sounds interesting. I'm more of a fan of alternate history pieces myself... Like this one book I recently finished, called The Man in the High Castle. It's interesting to see how our world could have turned out." He rested his head against the back of his seat. "Perhaps you could find me a translated version of the story you're reading, sometime?"

She nodded. "Perhaps, yes, perhaps. And one day you could let me see this book of yours, though I may not understand all of it!" She smiled, before delving into her book.

"Oh," added Ira, "and about teaching you! I shall start very soon!," she said, not looking up from the book. "I've just been...so upset lately, and I've been locked up in Torr's hotel room all day," she admitted.

The innkeep sets up several decorations, most of them of a heavily bearded fellow wearing steel armor, appearing to be Arkadacia's equivalent to Santa.

Saren has built an impressive looking pillow fort, with pillow cannons and several pillow archers.

Drake looks at the steel santa curiously then shrugged, then looks at the pillow fort that looked like a real pillow fort but question where the fucking hell he got the pillows.

He's a prince. Presumably he just nagged Cerril into buying him a ton.

A sharply dressed man walked in, looking around with eyes concealed by a pair of dark sunglasses. He was holding a fancy leather suitcase, and approached the bar slowly. He sat down on a stool, and looked at the bartender. "Nice place you have here," he said, his accent a strange mix of what seemed to be Finnish and Swedish.

She turns around, still placing up holiday decorations. "Thanks. If you want to see a shitty bar, try the one in the Reilish district... that place suuuuuuuuucks." The innkeep pauses for a moment and squints, trying to figure out his accent. "You're from, ah... Scandinavia, right?"

It was a picture of Dominic, wearing a suit and fedora, a dour look on his face. It appeared to have come from a passport or identification card, and he appeared a bit younger in it.
