She is still rather dusty, but her government employ hasn't left her as penniless as before, so her clothes are nice (though not well kept). In addition to her natural big boned form, she didn't look entirely out of place in the store. "Er, yes ma'am. I need a cordless phone. Apparently, it is supposed to have pictures on it."Torrocca wrote:(Jappy you're alive! :o)

(No I'm not.)
He feels something brush up against his leg.

TotallyNotEvilLand wrote:"I..." He muttered to himself. "Reiltam's pretty backwards... Anyways! Um, jas, I can help jou. I believe you are looking for a cellular phone? We have a large selection." He turned around and began wandering down the aisle, eventually coming across a fairly decent selection. Flip phones, more new-age smartphones, and a few types in-between. "Zhe newer, flatter models come with more features, but they cost more, and zhome people prefer pressing buttons instead of using a touch screen. Feel free to take a look."

(I am heartbroken. I know you put your heart and soul into this, but I think I'm not ready for that kind of commitment.)

Sa'ach nodded, almost passingly able to look contemplative. Not that she knew enough about any of these products to contemplate them. "I'll take the better one." She said vaguely, putting her hand out with a fistfull of hundred dollar bills. "Will this be enough?"

(Unlike that idiotic space station thread, we try and aim for quality posts that don't consist of *puts on hat* and other dumb shit like that. Do you realize how fucking long it would take to get to 500 pages? The WW2 thread got to around 280 I think and that took ages.)

besides, you were the only motherfucker who confirmed their vote. i'm guessing most of those 4 came from 'lol i vote in poll for no reason' people. i'm willing to compromise and wait until page 150 or 200 if there's enough demand for it)

Sa'ach nodded, deciding to pick accessories before the phone. Taking that opportunity to look through nearly the entire store without suspicion, she started at earpieces and edging towards the new customer to get a better look at them.Torrocca wrote:(;~; it was only supposed to be for until a bit after the battle that was to take place ended ;-;)

(*hugs* It's okay. We're in this together.)
The dog squirms soundlessly in Torr's grasp, not entirely cool with being picked up.

EDIT:
Barb also summed it up nicely for me. It's not about how many posts we get, it's about when we're ready to move to the next setting.)

Torr pauses for a second, then reaches into his pocket and pulls out a squeaky toy perfect for the dog, which he squeaks and shows to the dog. "There ya go, pal," he says, offering it to the dog.

Sa'ach saw him looking, and he likely saw her looking. The moment of secrecy was over, and frankness reigned.
In a few short strides, she crossed the store to the older gentleman. "Your name." She demanded quietly, so that only he could hear.Torrocca wrote:(so

(Alright, do you have a skype? I can get this done on Skype. But NS... I'm barely on.)
The dog nips at it, holding the new toy between its teeth. At the very least, it can't bite like this.
