In one of his pockets was a black and white photo of the pilot wearing a tuxedo and hugging a young woman in a dress. They were both smiling. Being worn on the pilot's neck was a dog tag.

He cuts off the dog tag and wipes some blood off of it, trying to see the name.

He takes the first aid kit, flask, bullets, and watch out, as well as the Mars Bar. "More stuff to send back at least..." He puts the box in his locker and reminds himself to send a letter to someone back in England to try and track down the pilot's loved ones.
