It had been another day at the fort. Today was a day of celebration. While the Germans weren't completely kicked out of Tinell just yet, they had just been struck with a mortal blow, and the complete removal of the invaders was predicted to be by Christmas (famous last words). No longer did one have to worry about being shot just for walking outside their homes. Life was finally beginning to bear some resemblance to life ten years prior.

Meanwhile, back at Heiss, 2015...

It had been about five minutes since the meteor shower destroyed a good chunk of the town. Astoundingly, not a whole lot of people died. The old Reil sat in a lawn chair out in the town park, reading a newspaper. "Should be back in 3... 2... 1..."

The time travelers in 1943 would suddenly feel themselves being torn away from wherever they were, and thrown into the grassy green park they had initially left in. Everyone seemed to be there in one piece.

Except for Crysal. Her armor was crumpled in a pile, and something was squirming around underneath it. A set of orange-tipped black ears poked out, along with a rather infuriated Culdranth face.

"Dimitri, I'm going to fucking kill you."

The old Reil shrugged non chalantly. "My diet said the same thing."
