Teams are still holding sign ups, but training and sparring sessions are being held in a park outside. Adrisal is in charge of training the Arkchil team whilst Crysal trains Iracusians.

The leader of the Pravyet team lands on the ground dramatically, letting his wings relax. "Yeah, we are. Our objective for today will be teaching you how to fight in standard formation. Charging out into battle and having individual duels is Hollywood style nonsense. Alone, you are but one man. With your shield wall, you are one hundred men." He begins passing out armor to various members of the team, as well as spears and shields. "Once you're dressed, get into a line and stand beside one another." He leans forward in an aggressive stance, shield moved to the left with his spear in an overhead grip. "Your shield will protect the person down the line, and the person up the line will protect you. Understood?"

He wakes up and looks at her. "You're a little scrawny, aren't you?" He shrugs and hands a pen and paper to her. "Put your name on the list. What loadout are you going with? Early Iracusian stuff is lighter, but Later Iracusian is better at protecting you."

He quickly slips on his armor and stands in the front of the line, his sheild to the left and the spear held overhead.

A group of Culdranth children chuck toy spears at them, letting them bounce off of the shields. The trainer smiles and waves them off. "As you can see, you are not dead! While nobody actually dies in these tournaments thanks to enchantments, these will prevent you from getting knocked out of the fight."

He flaps his wings and floats above them, pointing forwards. "Once they have exhausted their ammunition, take ten steps forward!"

Besides a berserk charge, but those are banned so you won't have to worry about them. Next, we're going to practice spear throwing." Several volunteers begin setting up human, Culdranth, Reil, and Arkadacian shaped targets. "We'll start off with the big ones. Any hit'll cripple an unarmored target, but you generally want to go for the face or neck. If they're smart and armored up, aim for the knees."

Any hit'll cripple an unarmored target, but you generally want to go for the face or neck. If they're smart and armored up, aim for the knees."

Alexi aimed at a target that looked suspiciously like Dr. Yeardling. He aimed towards it's head and threw the spear, impaling the target through the head.
