Some fancy-looking cars drive past and a Culdranth child holding his mother's hand stares up at Yeardling, as if trying to figure out what he is. He's promptly dragged off.

Dr. Yeardling throws the bottle and the box onto the counter and walks outside, into the town.

Dr. Yeardling walks around, looking for someone who speaks English.

Du'Heiss is waltzing around town dressed in an elaborate blue and red outfit with another Culdranth, dressed in an 18th century style dress. "If it isn't Yeardling... How is Culdranthine treating you?"

"Ah, hello, sir. I'm doing fine. This place is quite lovely."
He leans in close.
"And so are the women."
He looks around.
"Do you know any contractors around? I need to hire some people to build an office for me."

Said children are also being watched from a distance by Adri, who is sitting on a rooftop above them. She poofs into smoke and reappears on the ground, watching with mild concern. "Indeed." He mutters awkwardly, looking at the Culdranth beside him with a nervous expression before looking at Yeardling again. "Anyways, this is my wife, Chera." She bows politely.
"As for contractors... I would check with the Cei and Sons company. Look for the tall, yellow building a few miles down the road. Don't bump your head on the doorframe, by the way. They haven't upgraded it yet."

"Thank you, friend."
He began to walk towards said building, a slight swagger in his step.

"Son of a.."
He rubs his head and goes inside.

"Looks better here!"

A somewhat aged Culdranth wearing a tall, fuzzy hat looks over at Yeardling. "You are here to get something built, ouah?"

"I am glad I am not you then." Charlette replied with a deadpan, before the child who set down the knife grabbed the money and the knife while the others were looking at something he pointed at, taking the opportunity to run. "It sounds like an exceedingly bland lifestyle."

"A very modern place, missiar? Yes, we can do this. Should the door heights go up to human sizes or should they be adjusted for Arkadacian heights as well?"Crumlark wrote:"I am glad I am not you then." She watches him run off with a bemused expression, smiling just a little bit. "That was a joke." Adri waves around her khukri. "I am a child with a knife, after all. Anyways... I was wondering if you would consider yourself a bit of a... fortune teller? A mystic of sorts? Cerril described you as a demon of sorts, though in his words 'mostly harmless'."

A waitress runs over with a menu, promptly placing it on Ira's table before running off to go get the place set up.
