Me too, I think it's important for the DL to have a relationship with organized labour.

However I agree it should be more inclusive. We aren't syndicalists, for example, but are obviously pro-worker.

Quick question...

Why did over a dozen senate members, including those from my own party; hijack my IRC channels for my region? Why was I called offensive slurs? Why were I and my friends harrassed for hours on end? Why was I stalked? Why was I, and the other people of my region terrorised by such bullies? I am hurt and shocked that such a thing has occured. And yet, I am not allowed to participate in the IRC for The Democratic Left or The Senate? And my IRC channels continue to be occupied, and I continue to be harrased by members of The Senate; and even my own party.

After having incurred such incessant and deplorable abuse; I hereby resign as a member of The Democratic Left. I cannot be privy to such utter barbarity, harassment, abuse, stalking, tomfoolery, incompetency, mismanagement, and utter disrespect that I have experienced in The Senate, and The Democratic Left.

For now, I will be an Independent. Perhaps I will leave The Senate to avoid such mistreatment. Perhaps I will create my own party? Perhaps I will join another party. For now, I will consider my options and try to avoid such horrid behaviour in the future.
