IC: Aye.

OOC: This is why I love the senate. So much pointless crap, all in good fun.

Admin: This is why I hate you guys sometimes. Seriously, was there any point to any of this? Why do I have to look through this entire thread to see if I have to warn people? :P Oh well, the end result is that most people walked away fine. I'm sorry I couldn't be here during the debate so as to guide it a little bit more, which I think would have been necessary. A couple notes:

Britanno wrote:
The New World Oceania wrote:And yet both MV and Beta ruled post-GEA that five motions were necessary, so it looks like we have two bills in voting and four at the top of the queue.

They're overruled by the law then.

EDIT: Nihil you pesky Ninja.

Brit and Nihil are correct, it is 8 seconds. That's an error on my and Beta's part.

Britanno wrote:So let's get this straight for Beta when he comes back:
-snip-[/list]

I tried to keep that neutral. Everyone happy?

Thank you for posting this. It's a big help to get a summary.

On a heavier note, I received a TG from NWO a few hours back. Some of it is private and I do not have her consent to post it, and so I will not be posting the TG or a screenshot. The gist of it is that she'd like me to take a few actions on her behalf while she steps away from the Senate for a bit. First, the CEA is withdrawn. Second, she sponsors all legislation proposed by the Coalicion Azul or one of its members. I will not remind you of this further, but you may add her senator's name to bills you write.

A Presidential election thread will be up within 3 hours, as that's how much time is left on the 18th where I am.

Yes, the application period is reopened. The admins, myself included, thought that people should really be reading through the threads and that missing it wasn't really an excuse, but we are giving the benefit of the doubt to people who may have been out of action for a bit, such as on vacation or swamped with work, and so wouldn't have seen either the bill or Kour's announcement unless they went back a considerable ways.

The application period for the role of Centralised Police Authority is open and will remain open for five more days from the time of this post. Applications should be sent to the NSG Senate Administrators account.
