Can't do much with a lot of them if they don't vote, Madame President.

The fact that they do vote seems to be lost on you.

I still intend to vote when possible. If there's a problem, I'm willing to agree to a limit to how often this could be used by my proxy.

Why run a deficit when there is absolutely no need to? By all means, spend to get out of financial difficulties but when we're perfectly fine in fiscal terms we should be building a surplus, not debt.

This is especially significant given that we are not members of the IMF, so if the worst does happen we have nothing and no-one to turn on.

The two proxies are allowed, Osea's by admin decision due to extraordinary circumstances.

The Sarian wrote:My concern is that <Osea 767> has asked David Vera Cruz to vote as a proxy on a permanent basis, surely that should be just a temporary thing. Or else I can just ask all the FDP Members to let me vote on their behalf - save everyone lots of time.

We'll consider it when the entire FDP caucus gets a long-term illness.

"Can the Government answer why debt interest repayments are not included in this budget? For a cost worth a good 45 times the entire Adrius budget, it is no minuscule cost. Perhaps the Government would pay more attention to the deficits they're running if they reminded themselves of the cost needed to service it."

I'd like to echo my fellow senator's statement. Why isn't the government not even paying for the interest on the debt, let alone the debt itself? Surely they don't want a snowballing effect of compounding interest? Is this a mess they hope to pass on to the next government?
