"Point of order mister speaker, this is not a playground, and surely an august body such as this House would not allow paper airplanes to be flown around during proceedings."

He proceeded to fold an unimportant document into a plane and threw it across the floor. The plane glided and nosedived down towards the PT side, where there were considerably less MPs in the seats than usual.

ORDER.

Mr. Abaroa and Mr. Escuella, this isn't necessary. While there is no rule on the matter as of now, this is Parliament, not a playground. We are all grown men and women here deciding how this nation will be ran, not five years olds playing around here. This is serious business and should be treated as such. Knock it off."

Probably, due to Tory vote swapping.

Question: Do general elections in the UK have anywhere near the amount of anger and hate between the parties during the campaigns that US presidential/congressional ones do (I hope not!)

Let's take the UK discussion to either an OOC thread or the UK Thread. I understand that some of your hearts are broken and stuff but, not here.

Five is a number which is too now; as we have seen during end days of Boris eight seconds are not too much to ask for - neither is 15 seconds for motion. Judging by last voting figures, we have 36 mps who attend and participate in the sittings.
This bill allows 22% of the chamber to dictate processions of entire chamber is rather silly; more so when we only require 13% approval to pass non binding motion. I oppose this bill entirely.

"I demand this bill be corrected before further discussion commences! It is unfit for the Senate" proclaims Senator Abaroa.
"This is not a playground! This is Calaverde's Legislature" says Abaroa a few seconds later with a hint of sarcasm.
