I wonder how the city of Masalbhumi will feel about that.

Perhaps beef should be our national meat. Beef is delicious, and there are more Muslims than Hindus in this country, therefore beef is more accessible. Specifically, ribs should be our national meat. Or food. They're just plain good.

Let's write a bill making food our official food.

Coming in from a mile run in the Senate gym Elon sees whats unfolding. "It's like college again!" he exclaims with a smile on his face, thinking of where he may be able to some booze. "And I sponsor ribs as the National meat." he exclaims.

Senator Cashmere nods. "I would like to remind The Speaker we are running a parliament here, not a day care. That's three doors down I believe."

My lord, does the opposition think we need anything anymore?

Oh and before the opposition responds with the same critique they gave about the Labor Mediation Act, where is the Oppositions proposal or their vision for Calaverde even?" shouted the Deputy-Prime Minister from the frontbench.

"Can Parliamentary Staff arrange for a hundred copies of this bill to be sent to the FDP Headquarters, we need new toilet roll.

But in all seriousness, how dare the government bring this monstrosity of a bill to the floor of the chamber. Starting from §1 we see clear undesirable features not just felt from our side of the chamber, but from the governing benches as well - not least the seventy five million dollar investment in a project that any sensible government would de-establish at the earliest possible convenience."

"Yeah, right. We literally can't have any of those things without a corporatist state bank. Next we'll have to establish a bureau a tying one's shoes. How's anybody supposed to figure that stuff out without the benevolent government holding our hands?

But this is more useful than the Labor Mediation Act, I admit. It helps someone achieve their ideological goals at any rate."

"Point of Order, should the Speaker really be dishing out insults to character?

I am fully aware that banks exist, my criticism of the Opposition is that they don't have a policy for seemingly anything and ignore the fact that the government can and should invest in projects and this is one of doing it through the Citizens Bank"
