That would have been funny if you had tried less hard and were up-to-date with, well, what's going on but hey, at least you made me care enough to reply.

It's alright. I'm a run-of-the-mill centre-rightist, and even centre-to-centre-left in America, which is why it didn't feel like it applied to me as an insult in the first place.

Anyway, carry on with your lives.

The vote ended three hours ago, but I was not available to bring it to a close, so I officially do so.

By a vote of 5-0 with 1 abstention, the WA votes to accept and endorse a coalition with the DL, LDP and RefP. Thank you all for making your opinions heard.

Glas, I understand your concern, but I do not believe our goals or principles will be sacrificed by working with the RefP. It is more an agreement to govern together, to discuss our many different ideas for moving forward and working together to do what is right for Calaverede. With the LDP and DL as well as ourselves, I think we can safely say that the voice of the working class will be heard in this government.

All who can, I encourage you to go vote in the coalition thread for the inclusion of the RefP. While we have declared our support for the inclusion, the coalition must still finish its decision making process by democratic vote.

"The Alliance seeks not for a violent revolution, but a revolution that is social and economic and in that sense may be classed as revolutionary. We believe in legislating worker’s right to democratic control of their own labour, granting them power over the means of production within an explicitly Socialist economic system. So....what part of the social revolution allows for collaboration with the Reform Party?

We remain a party committed to a gradualistic reform process to achieving social and economic changes we wish to see. The Reform Party, while occupying a quite different ideology, have agreed to work with us to govern this country and try to find the best solutions to the problems we face going forward. There is no sacrifice in principals by working with those who adhere to other ideology, merely recognition that we cannot force the changes we want on society. We must continuously dialogue and educate until finally our people are ready to take the leap and embrace socialist economics fully.

Have you asked members of the Reform Party how ready they are to embrace socialist economics? Last I checked they weren't very fond of the idea at all.

Oh I remember when the FDP left Coalicion Azul, there wasn't a way to accept a center right party into the coalition then. But now your all up for accepting a party that leans even more to the right than the FDP into the coalicion.

See, the thing is, the FDP had no interest in joining the Coalition and there was no need to have them do so.

But there is a need to let in people who are even further to the right than the FDP?

What about my old wimpy attempt at a centrist party? Anyone remember the UCMP?

I wanted to get into the coalition, and I even stole a senator from the Liberal Democrats. But alas the UCMP wasn't allowed into the coalition, perhaps they were too right leaning for the likes of the Liberal Democrats and Democratic Left? But now Reform gets in and everyone's like "woo woo they're pragmatic and will aid us in the transition to socialism, yea!"

The UCMP was led by you. You are a very politically confused individual.

I briefly played as a crazy Anarcho-Capitalist quickly turned Corporatist Senator and joined Partido Tradicionalista. Besides that I only moved parties three times, once to the UCMP from the Libdems, once from the UCMP back to the Libdems, and last from the LibDems to the Newdems.

This is undeniably compromising principles. Not working with the Reform Party =/= forcing change on society. You can dance your way around it with words as you please.
