A society that does not recognize that each individual has values of his own which he is entitled to follow can have no respect for the dignity of the individual and cannot really know freedom. -F.A. Hayek

FISCAL POLICY
Our party believes in a balanced, reasonable approach to fiscal policy by supporting sound and efficient allocation of taxpayer funds, and a reasonable level of taxation that does not rip the shirts off the backs of our citizens. We also support reducing regulation of industry, and prefer market solutions to problems when they are available. We recognize the importance of the commercial backbone of this country, and believe that we should try to make the business climate as friendly and fair as possible for the industrial growth of our nation. Therefore, our party supports the concept of free market economics, and is opposed to cronyism and politically fueled nationalization.

FOREIGN POLICY
Our party favors peace over war, and prefers to make friends and trade partners with other nations before becoming enemies with them. However, if a foreign power were to take aggressive actions against our great nation, we would wholly support any effort to defend ourselves and the fine people of our country.

SOCIAL POLICY
As a party, we believe in the sovereignty of every individual. While we are secular in nature, we are not totally unopposed to progressive stances on various issues. If such stances trump the concept of individual freedom, we will take a firm position against them. We support equal treatment for all persons under the law.

EDUCATION AND HEALTHCARE POLICY
Our party hopes to offer our people the best education and the best healthcare we can afford. Therefore, we support utilizing the benefits of the free market in determining the best healthcare and education for our children, as this allows our people to have a choice in their healthcare and education. This type of opportunity for individuals to choose the best option that fits their needs makes our services more efficient in the face of competing establishments, and allows us to maintain a safe, practical, and highly-performing services system.

CRIME AND JUSTICE POLICY
As a party, we believe in the concept of justice wholeheartedly. As such, we support reducing crime by reducing the amount of frivolous laws that cause people to be convicted. Simultaneously, though, we also believe in accountability. Therefore, we strongly support civil liberties, as well as transparency in our police service. We also believe in giving people second chances, and therefore, we value rehabilitation over punishment in most cases. However, we believe that our justice system should be focused on restitution for the victims, and rehabilitation should be a second priority. We also support the right to bear arms, and the people's right to defend themselves, as these are sound principles that help reduce crime significantly.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
We believe that the environment is important. Therefore, our party supports reasonable environmental regulation that protects the people against pollution and “broken cycles” caused by the extinction of a species. However, we believe very strongly that the needs of the economy should be considered equally as important as the needs of the environment, and that an equilibrium should be reached in terms of our nation’s environmental policies.

ENERGY POLICY
We support an all-of-the-above policy when it comes to energy. While we believe that nuclear is the way to go, we believe that other fossil fuels shouldn't be wasted. Simultaneously, however, we believe that energy production is an issue for the free market, not the government.

I don't understand. If you were part of the party on the other thread, you are already set on here. No need to re-join.

I think it's scheduled for early next year. January-ish.

Also, I like the logo. It has a nice retro feel to it.
