Do you really want to have it before the election? Or after? First priority should be the president and organizing that, no?Belmaria wrote:Also, since the party voted to have a parliamentary leader in the planning thread, when are we holding that election?

Solntsa Roshcha --- Postmodern Poyltheist
"Christianity had brutally planted the poisoned blade in the healthy, quivering flesh of all humanity; it had goaded a cold wave
of darkness with mystically brutal fury to dim the serene and festive exultation of the dionysian spirit of our pagan ancestors."

I'd definitely be supportive of that. I'm not sure if our monarchist friends would be however, so it'd have to be an individually crafted bill (as most are) and not explicitly supported by the party. Should we gain the government, I'd tell the president to let that one run without blocking it.

We aren't a Theocratic party. However, we reserve all judgement on such a bill until we see it.

The first thing we should do is possibly use the president's executive powers to veto any leftist economic bill. Demleft wants an absurd 50% top income tax in a 2nd world nation. Libdem is almost as bad with their expansion of union power. Ergo, we have to make sure that in our few months we got we set a strong stage for future right wing governments by passing bills that limit power (to force them to focus on repealing those first before they pass anything) and setting down some legislation strengthening property rights and making sure the communists don't ever get a foothold.
My goal is the creation of a night-watchman state that I am sure everyone here agrees with fully or at least partially. Once we get a surplus, only then we can introduce some services (such as a NIT), but for the most part we want to keep everything fully voluntary. There should be no laws that contravene the right to self ownership. No hate speech laws, no abortion laws, no gay marriage laws, etc.. To keep our coalition with the PT, we will concede to some things, like giving some localities judicial power in setting their own morality laws, but it should be subject to a democratic vote. I really like the FDP's idea of a citizen's referendum, or whatever, and to solidify our alliance with them I support implementing things like that to keep the people constantly dogging the government. I'm not a huge monarchist fan, but I'd support a referendum, provided that this monarch works in our interest.
Thoughts?

I definitely agree with this, but the vote is over, isn't it?
