Our coalition offers a fairly centrist economic outlook, with fairly low and competitive taxes, we're pragmatic. Your coalition on the other hand is ideologically constrained, and effectively believes in 0 taxes, a 100 percent private sector, and no safety net what so ever for the poor.

Coalition Azul isn't centre-right or even right, it's economically far-right and has made 0 attempt to modernise or appeal to the centre.

I don't think you've read Atlanticatia's economic policy platform. Even I struggled to find issues with it.

The DemLeft's economic platform is actually pretty agreeable, with the exception of the "equal pay" provision, which is ambiguous as to how it will be implemented. I don't see our coalition doing things much differently.

So if you stand behind what you said about shooting yourself to avoid the woes of economic collapse, and the underlined is true, shouldn't you also say that you should shoot yourself if the Blue Coalition gets into power?

I was under the impression that this coalition would try to institute Aurentina-esque economic policies, including a 60% cap tax rate, which would be stupid.

You really should read the policies publicised by our economic spokesperson before making such outrageous and baseless claims.

We have the WA vote in the second round, which even including now would put us up with 10 votes. There are more still that haven't voted.

Mollary, the man on your flag reminds me of the newsreader from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I know he's probably some big political figure, but I don't keep up with all the historical socialist figures that appear in the Dem-Left's wet dreams :p

Arthur Scargill is hardly historical. He's still alive, albeit not really having done any major notable actions for around 30 years.

He's technically alive. But many would argue his actions and his political views are historical and aren't part of the 21st century. :lol2:

I'm pretty new to the NSG Senate and have finally gotten my bearings. So, onto my question. Malgrave is running for President of Calaverde in the name of our party. Are any other positions in the country's government going to be elected upon? If so, are any in-party nominations up for grabs? I'd really like to get involved with the government.

Min. of Interior - Antonio Jordan Ruiz Simon Alvarez-Bolivar
Min. of Environment & Energy - Zunkwentania
Min. of Social Services and Welfare -

Ministry of Transport & Infrastructure -
Minister of Industry - Mollary

If Mollary , Bandwagon and other party members wish to announce their intent to run for other positions in the cabinet then I can edit them onto the list. Of course I am open to suggests from other members on what cabinet positions they wish to see added or removed from the list.

Indeed there are!

Thank you very much! I'd like to put my name in to run for Social Services and Welfare. Anyways, I have a suggestion to make: perhaps, within our own party, we could have a youth wing?

Well, I believe that it is assumed we all have youth wings. We could, however, do something like a youth protest if CA wins.

No need to picket. Bel is overconfident that he win, only because his Coalition's candidate has more votes than Malgrave...even though it is the first round of voting. He forgets that we have about 15 votes from the WA that will be accounted for in the second round which will lead to a close victory for our coalition.

If we don't secure a majority in the first round, that is. If we do secure a first-round majority, however, NSGS precedent provides for the immediate election of our candidate. And since the current GEA leaves a lot of the elections process up to precedent, and essentially admin decisions, that's the course that we will most likely take.
