Bronze, of an orchestra director. The technique reminded me of applying plaster, unevenly, to a wall. The effect makes it seems like there's a lot of movement in the piece despite it being free standing and static.

Ugh, I hate that :/

I'm planning to visit some art galleries and museums after my last exam for the year. It's been a long time since I've immersed myself in art.

And the distraction is probably needed. After cramming/studying for exams, nothing like a leisurely stroll through a museum or art gallery to enjoy things without the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Mmm.

I went to an art gallery in a school field trip when I was ~13, and I've always been interested in art as culture, not necessarily as something I'd like to do personally.

My art is music, adding emotion and life to someone else's scored canvas - but I have nothing but respect for the kind of people who can create windows into another world with textures and colours and vivid shapes and framing and the like.
