Paper monopoly money is where it's at. I never cheated, but keeping an eye on your enemies friends was part of the fun. I'll need to satisfy this Monopoly craving at some point. I've got my PC re-built and Steam account finally set up now.

I was rather good at monopoly. Though some of the people I played with rage quit when you didn't let them cheat. They were so obvious though.

Nothing worse than a lazy cheater. You've got to admire some creative cheating. It's subtle almost to the point of sociopathy.

Oh no, trading is for when you're thoroughly screwed over and can be exploited. AI players are a very useful tool.

I'll just use a Lego minifig, that also works.

Yeah, when I cheat manipulate the rules I am subtle. I don't just claim that the player on the other side of the table stole a property from me.

Two friends I had when I was younger were terrible Monopoly players. Brother and sister. He always cheated, and she always rage-quit when she didn't win. It's like the double whammy of bad monopoly etiquette.

My brother was like both of them. He was a raging cheater that would try to steal money and would flip the board if he was losing.

I've said it and I'll say it before, white wine and oven salmon/rainbow trout are clearly one of the gifts of the goddess.

Bad winners are worse. Have your little victory celebration, but if it carries on for hours, somebody's getting a cold dinner. Dami learned that the hard way.

My main objection against Monopoly is that, once started, the game just doesn't end. It just keeps going on and on and on. Granted, after a while it's clear who got all the expensive streets and stuff, but those players tend to express a desire to keep playing until they have all the money.

Applicants for the position of Des's masseuse should submit their applications immediately. Uri need not apply.

Yeah, it can go on for some time when the remaining players are locked and are just essentially exchanging the same money back and forth. The game could benefit from a mechanic like a property tax on all houses/hotels.

Maybe it's just that Dami does not often tend to be victorious, so he has to make most of any win he accidentally manages to score.
