Buttons. Also not secret, the manual describes them and what tools you need to press them. Often, they are called "screws". Sometimes "nails".

I think the normal procedure of putting it in a bowl of rice so the Asians will come and fix it, doesn't apply in your case... I would say, perform a blood sacrefice to Odin and Thor. IKEA has to be some form of Viking ritual.

My Puty just gave me quite the scare.

The entire UI was fine, but the "animations" were incredibly slow. The start menu popped up at a snail's pace, even though snapping to another window (which happens without any fancy transitions) went just fine.

Used CCleaner to check the Registry and restarted. Doing fine now. Hopefully my SSD isn't getting too worn out already.
