His evidence sounds plausible.

However it does have a lot of language speculation, let alone mapping speculation on the voyages of the seafarers.

Yup. As I said, he's speculating a lot, and I guess it sorta figures as he's MUslim himself.

The truth is there are many accounts throughout the centuries prior to Columbus's travels of mysterious land/islands glimpsed by European sailors through the fog. Chances of people from the old world having landed in the new world (even after the Vikings) is high. But without concrete evidence, this is all relegated to the realm of ''what if''.
