I'm very tolerant to a lot of the supplements I take. Beta-Alanine gives a lot of people tingly skin. I've never had it once. Taurine in the muscles gets depleted by Beta-Alanine which is why I currently take it. I also used to take it as it prevented cramps from something else I used to take. I probably need to reduce my Taurine intake a little, though.

Does it make you get a burst of energy?

I've not noticed it giving me any sort of energy boost. Siberian and Korean Ginseng were the best supplements I took for that, but as they're diuretic it doesn't make sense for me to take them while I'm on Creatine, which increases water retention.

Beta-Alanine does give me an endurance boost. Nothing beats coffee for a buzz though.

Ok, because I noticed that effect in me with taurine, but again, it could've been the mix of taurine, ginseng and guarana.

You're right! It's very expensive and only meant for the rich aristocratic members of society. :)

Buy condoms.

And lots of them. Also lube, against chafing.
CVT Temp wrote:I mean, we can actually create a mathematical definition for evolution in terms of the evolutionary algorithm and then write code to deal with abstract instances of evolution, which basically equates to mathematical proof that evolution works. All that remains is to show that biological systems replicate in such a way as to satisfy the minimal criteria required for evolution to apply to them, something which has already been adequately shown time and again. At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.
